I was through the Gate once again. The Astomi was somehow the best monster I could have dreamed of at this moment. It was cute, didn't throw words like daggers, was innocent, and the other monsters didn't seem to like hurting it either.
I was happy.

Before, it had a resemblance to my world. Maybe a bit more carnal like the grasses could bite or something, but it was pleasant. Ezra's home even was comforting in all its huge glory. The monsters - or Ezra's friends - were obviously a shock to me, but they were all sane and friendly.
