Kaito felt someone grabbing his shoulder. He looked around and saw the god of death beside him. He wore a white kimono with a black haori tucked under his belt, he had black hair that was long enough to reach the edges of his shoulders. "Are you.. Shinjiro Akada?" Kaito asked. Shinjiro responded, "Yes indeed, guess I'm quite popular!" Shinjiro chuckled softly.
'He's nothing like what the other gods said he was..' Kaito thought to himself.
"Well aren't you the sweetest thing, Kaito? You care about nature, you're especially kind, and you're pretty nice at fighting!" Shinjiro chuckled once more. Kaito began to fluster a bit. The god of death reached out his hand and sucked in the unconscious demon. "Well it's nice that another one of my fellow gods doesn't despise me. Especially for false hearsay." Shinjiro smiled at the water god brightly.
"Who would spread such things?" Kaito questioned in shock.
Shinjiro answered, "Honestly.. I don't really know."
"All I know is that few have doubted those claims. You, Tenshi, and Yoko, the god of the sun." Shinjiro sighed.
The wind blew both of their hair swiftly. It was midnight, the full moon shined a lovely spark. "Isn't the moon lovely today, Kaito?" Shinjiro looked onto the sparkling moon.
"Of course." Kaito responded.
Shinjiro looked back at Kaito, "Shall we ascend upon the clouds once more?" He asked. Kaito nodded cheerfully. It was like both of them finished something great.
They ascended onto the heavens and walked to the palace of the gods. There they stand before Tenshi, whom already predicted about their success. "You succeeded? Am I correct?" Tenshi tilted his head onto his fist. "Of course we did! We're anything but weak." Shinjiro grinned. Tenshi eagerly thanked them, "I appreciate both of you for your service." He further dismissed the deities from the palace.
Shinjiro went to go back to hell, as he saw Kaito following him. "Wait! I have a burning question." Kaito breathed profusely. "What is it?" Shinjiro looked onward. "It's just that.. how do you know me and my name? I didn't even know you before overhearing some whispers at a meeting. The only thing I known was how 'bad' you were and things." Kaito asked.
Shinjiro giggled, "Tenshi has been telling me alot about you, you know? He's like a father figure bragging about their child and what they accomplished in life!"
'Does he really think I'm all that special?' Kaito was surprised.
The god of death left Kaito with a grin and descended into the realm of darkness, hell. Kaito grinned back adorably. It was the first time he was that close to someone. His eyes sparkled with joy.
"I never knew I've fallen for someone like you, Shinjiro-san" Kaito muttered while looking down above. He giggled for a bit. He felt like he really did something.
Kaito went back to his own place in the heavens, 'The Ocean Realm'. A fantastical realm in heaven where anything ocean-related resides. Meaning fish, saints who adore the oceans, and a ton of other things. God's have their own home up on the clouds.
The water god sat down in one of his lavish beds, thinking about Shinjiro for some circumstance. He still was questioning about how even the gods believed such stupid hearsay. Was it because he was the god of hell and death? Things people are scared of in whole? Is that why? Kaito was overwhelmed with these mindless thoughts. It was filling up his brain. He covered his face with his hands, and tucked in his legs.
"Gosh! Why can't I just relax?" He shouted.
The deity sighed abundantly. He shifted his hands beneath his head, and gazed upon the ceiling. The place was devoured in different types of blue, since that was the water god's favorite color. "I wonder why I just feel a gush of euphoria every time I see his face.." Kaito dreamed. "It's just his beautiful grin, I can't handle it. I always fluster when I look at that"
It's the first time Kaito has ever been in love for several of thousands of years. He was just a symbol of chastity from the start, even though that wasn't his purpose. Some mortals even prayed to him to have more abstinence. Now he's devoured in euphoria and joy every time he sees the face of Shinjiro.
Kaito chuckles in joy then lets out a deep sigh. He stood up, and walked out of his realm. He sees the night sky of earth reflecting onto the heavens. Kaito smiles once more. He walks to edges of the heavens. The clouds let out a quick breeze. He closed his eyes, and jumped down. He was now entering the mortal world once more. He fell from the sky, and saw the same sphere again. He stared at it with a feeling of hope. As he crashed into a flower field. He opened his eyes. It was like he was experiencing a tad bit of deja vu.
He heard a tune. A very loud one indeed. It came from Mt. Amaki. He looked upwards and followed the sound of the tune out of curiosity.
