Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Emblem and children

Lilianna's perspective

King Marion looked with happy eyes. "This.... is Malachi's emblem. The red carnation of Fire." He said; "I am so happy! It seems I have made a good choice."

Queen Rianna and Michail on the other hand narrowed their eye brows. 'You...' I thought as I looked at the queen; 'You are planning something aren't you? You have to be. It's just the nature that I wrote for you.' Her gaze caught mine so I moved to look to Malachi

Malachi who was already confused and frowned his eye brows. My eyes widened. 'Oh yeah! I forgot he barely knows anything about this world.' I thought; 'But how am I gonna play Lilianna and system at the same time?' I started to panic. "What is a-?" Malachi asked. In a flash I covered his mouth with... eheh... -////- ehehe

My hand. Duh.

"up with me constantly gazing at you?" I finished his sentence and smiled at him. My eyes however were glaring at him. "I just really... really missed you..." I said wrapping my arms around his neck... "Did you miss me too?" I sweetly smiled and got closer as if to whispered in his ear...

However my eyes also carried a fury. "You damn idiot!" My voice was low enough for only me and him to hear. "You can't ask questions like that! You'll reveal who you really are. Then we can never return." I said; "Not that I mind staying here with you..."

"Get your hands off me right now." He whispered back. "Oh shut your trap." I replied; "We wouldn't have been in this situation if it weren't for your blatant actions." Being this up close to him I saw his jaw clench. "My actions were not blatant." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Please as if you would know what blatant means." I replied "I- Well, actually... yes, you're right. I don't know." He said.

I patted his back. "Yes, of course I am. Anyways you should get used to being this close." I said; "At least in front of the kingdom." I laughed then let go of him. I didn't want to stay close too long since the queen would hate him more. "I can tell you more about things later." I whispered to him. "No, thanks. I can just ask system." he replied. I sarcastically smiled at him. "Stop giving that poor girl work. Let her rest. She probably wants to enjoy her live instead of... educating. the likes. of you." I said. 'That way I have more time to think on how I'll handle this situation.. And if you never contact me-'

"Well that's a system. It can't be that hard for her." He said. "She's just a system. Not a human being." I sighed. 'Never mind. I am not spared. From now on... I'll be dead.' I thought in myself. 'Well at least he doesn't think system is me.' The king chuckled. "Look at them. They're getting along well!" he said; "I made the right choice for once in my life" That sentence. That went deep...

I smiled. 'Yes, I suppose you did.' I said; "I'm glad I could see him again." "Aren't you acting blatantly right now? " Malachi whispered in my ear. "Well, I am author. I have a couple more chances then you. Plus it isn't a lie and it can fit." I responded; "Malachi and Lilianna met back in high school. I just have to make up that she fell in love with him back then or something."

"Stop whispering to each other. It's gross. No Public display of affection." Prince Michail said. "Aww, you're jealous." I replied; "Is my brother-in-law salty? I have the right to speak like this to Malachi right? I am after all his future princes consort." I chuckled. 'I probably shouldn't rub in too much salt." I thought.

"Well," Prince Michail said with a smirk; 'You can be with me instead. I'm way better." I rose my brows and leaned back into Malachi. "Michail!" the king yelled and stepped forward. However the queen stopped him. "Let's see how Lilianna will react." The queen said.

On the other hand Malachi's shoulders tensed when I had leaned in. "Relax will you." I whispered looking at him. "I don't bite." I smiled and reverted my gaze back to Malachi. "Oh? Be with you instead, Michail? And on what basis should I be with you?" I said; "Pray, tell? Because I see none."

"Well, he is so cold. While you are like a fire." He said. "While I am like a moth. A moth drawn to the flame." I rolled my eyes and laughed; "Ah, how unfortunate. But I'm afraid you have your info wrong about me and him. It's supposed to be quite the opposite."

"Well in that case... You're perfect for me. I'm cold. You're cold." He said; "We fit. We can learn to be good together."

"Brother-in-law," I started; "I think you've got it all wrong. They say opposites attract. Plus I am not into a cold person. I would rather stick to Malachi over here. Quite blatant of you to try to steal your brother's fiancé in front of the family. What Ill-manners you have, Quite. Well... How should I put it? unattractive."

"That's quite mean. You could've gone a little softer." He said not letting his poker face fall. "Well... perhaps I would if you acted as my brother-in-law as you should." I said.

"Are you sure about your decision? Sister-in-law? ." He said and I hummed; "Well, don't regret it. Don't come crying to me saying I didn't give you a chance"

I laughed. "Tsk, I don't come crying to people." I said; "Malachi, knows that very well. Don't you Vinci? I mean Malachi."

"Is Vinci your ex's name or something?" Michail asked. I smiled. "No, not at all. It's just my nickname for him." I said and then looked at Malachi; "I've called you that since high school haven't I?" 'Play along" I whispered to him. Malachi then frowned his brows. "Yes, I think so." He said then smiled; "It's been so long I can't even remember when you started calling me that." "Nice save!" I whisper yelled; "Now just wrap your arms around my waist to make it seem real." At that he gave me his angry bird face. "Don't push it too far." He said. I pouted. "Yeah, yeah" I said and gaped.

I had actually been trying not to fall asleep all this time. His scent. I could smell Malachi's scent and it was very very addictive. "Vinci, your cologne is as strong as ever." I murmured; "It's even stronger than in the real world." I'm guessing he heard me. Not that I meant to. I have no idea on how he reacted however his voice sounded a little annoyed. "Well, you never dared to act this brazen at school. You never were this close." He said; "You got bold."

I smiled and stepped away from him. Gaping more. "Um King Marion." I said. King Marion looked at me. " Father. Call me father." He said sternly however the corner of his mouth lifted. I smiled. "Okay. Father. I am sleepy. Where can I sleep?" I said.

"Oh. Don't you want to eat first though?" He said. I shook my head. "No, I already ate a lot on the way here. I'm very sleepy now." I said. King Marion nodded. "Okay. Good. Good. Malachi show her to your room." He said. My eyes widened. "Wait, what?" I said; "Me? Share a room with this guy?" I pointed to Malachi. The king nodded. "Yes. You'll be husband and wife soon anyway." The king said; "So, it's perfectly normal."

He pushed me and Malachi into a direction. "Go on. Go on. Bring me grand children soon." he said. Malachi groaned. "Dad! All you think about is grandkids!" Malachi said. "Well, I am getting old. It is normal." King Marion said; "Now. Shoo! Shoo!" He pushed us more until we came across guards. "Ay. Commander Kyle." The king said. "Escort these two to the crown prince's room. And make sure they don't sneak off!" The guard nodded and bowed.

As we continued to walk... little by little... heard king Marion's footsteps fade away until...
