Arien smirked.
"So you figured that out." Opal didn't comment on that, she was still standing in front of the mirror looking at the dream dress.
'If you want this dress that badly, remember to keep close to me at all times at this event. There will be many people there and not all of them are …. suited for your company." Arien manged to form his apprehension in a delicate manner.
"Deal." Opal agreed without hesitation. She would stick to uncle anyway as she knew nobody there and it will be her first time at a party, not to mention that caliber of a party. She felt excitement, her first party in a wonderful dress and in that huge casino. It's going to be so amazing.
"I have something for you." Arien raised himself and took out of his pocket a small black box and handed it over to Opal. She opened it eagerly seeing long silver earrings covered in small sparkling diamonds.
"They are beautiful." She patted the earrings feeling its surface.
Arien could watch her for hours, she looked like an angel in that dress with her eyes sparking like the diamond earrings he gave her. She will shine at his side at the event.
They bought the dress, some accessories and went out of the shop. Arien left her at the apartment and headed for the location Simon has given him. It was just as Opal said with a small correction. The matter hasn't been settled yet. He will get rid of an Alpha who dared to lay his eyes on his Omega.
It was one of his clubs, Arien went in through the back door greeted by Nick who was standing guard there and pointed his Alpha the way. Arien went downstairs to a small room next to their warehouse. Inside guarded by two men a young Alpha was sitting in the middle of the room. His head was covered and his hands were tied behind his back.
Arien stood opposite to his prisoner waiting for one of the guard to take off his face cover. He met a green hateful gaze and lips clenched in a thin line. There was a bruise on his cheek and his hair looked messy. Arien told the guards to leave.
"So we finally meet." Arien started waiting for his opponent's response but there was none.
"I'm not sure what do you want. As far as I know it is over between the two of you." Arien decided to provoke him.
Jayden was angry, no he was furious. After such a long time he managed to finally find his Mate. It wasn't easy, he was totally lost till Alpha Mark helped him by showing the material from surveillance cameras in front of the pack house. Next step was to contact a police officer to find the owner of the car by license plates and than finally come here. His parents knew about Opal and supported him. Knowing what he did Jayden was afraid to appear in front of her out of the blue. So he sent her flowers to make her curious, to soften her a little bit and was about to start courting her and apologize and explain the misunderstanding but than Arien happened. There was something strange in the way he behaved towards Opal. Jayden was watching them when they were going to a shop or at the restaurant. They looked like brother and sister but there was just something he couldn't name that was bothering his Alpha. Maybe her uncle was simply overprotective and Opal for sure had nothing good to say about her Mate.
"I want her back. I want my Mate." - He looked Arien straight in the eyes. - "I know I messed up but it was partially your fault. I thought you were her lover not her uncle. I was wrong." He sighted, he felt tired after the whole sleepless night. "I just want to talk to her and let her make the decision whether she wants me back or not."
Arien stood for a while in silence. Than he came closer towering over the sitting Jayden.
"You were right about me and Opal. We are more than family. She responds to my pheromones so well. The things she let, no begged me to do to her while in heat." Arien bowed and whispered straight into Jayden's ear – "She tastes so good. I'll make her mine and imprint her soon."
Jayden's face went from flushed to pale almost white and than to deep red again.
"You fucking freak. You are her uncle, that's sick. If you think she will be with you as a lover, than you are stupid." Jayden almost shouted the last words trying hard to set himself free from the bonds.
"Don't make me laugh." – Arien walked toward the door. - "The only stupid person is you. You came here alone with no buck up. Stay away fro Opal. She's mine." These were his last words and Arien left not paying ant attention to whatever that brat was spatting out.
Walking up the stairs he was thinking. That Alpha was a pain. Initially Arien wanted to scare him away but after today's discussion he knew that Jayden will not give up. He was a fated Mate and that bond wasn't something one couldn't easily erase. Opal left him because she believed he rejected her. What if she learns the truth? Arien wasn't going to take such risk. There was a simple way he could get rid of him without staining his hands. He has done it before. However it wasn't free of charge. Arien didn't like to take advantage of that possibility but it must be done. Jayden has to vanish. Arien took out his phone and with a deep frown dialed the number. After second signal it was picked up.
"Darling you call me did you miss me?" A well known flirty voice responded. Knowing how awkward this conversation might become Arien cut it short.
"Extremely. Johnatan I have a favor to ask."
