Thirty minutes later, Klimo got down to the last floor and as promised, he met Crystal waiting for him. She was wearing a red night gown which looked too fancy and too tight for its purpose. He could clearly outline every curve of her body and her knockers were barely covered!
'Are all her clothes like this or is she wearing these particular ones because I'm here?' He wondered.
"My dad's asleep. We are free to go without interruptions." Crystal whispered, despite the fact that she was the daughter of her father and had the right to go anywhere she wanted.
Her eyes were glowing red faintly as she led him out of the mansion and towards the temple.
It seemed no one was outside at the moment, letting Klimo sigh inwardly. He didn't want anyone seeing him at this time with Crystal for obvious reasons.
The courtyard was well lighted, which meant Klimo's earlier thoughts of sneaking into the Temple was impossible. He could have easily been sighted by anybody who was awake and happened to look through their windows.
They got to the entrance and right on the door was a lock which had a fingerprint scanner on it. Klimo had never seen such a device before, but he wasn't surprised that it was here.
Stuff like these were owned only by those who were super rich or were highly influential.
Why? Because they could afford it!
But that was not what was important to Klimo at the moment.
'If I'd come here on my own, even if I was able to sneak to the door without being seen, the moment I come before this door, it's the end of my plan.' Klimo realized.
'It's a good thing I came up with this plan.'
Crystal placed her index finger on the scanner and it did its job. After scanning her finger, it blinked in a bright green before it unlocked. Then the door automatically opened by itself with a low hissing sound.
Crystal went in and Klimo followed closely behind. Once he stepped in, the door closed.
Klimo took some time to look around the temple again not wanting to look suspicious by going straight for the statue.
He observed the ancestral stones and pillars and realized there were runes on them. Runes that almost seemed recognizable. But since he couldn't place where or how he'd seen them before, he placed it at the back of his mind.
The crystals within the dome were still shining in a beautiful yellow, making the whole temple glow softly.
'These crystals must cost a lot of money. If I could sell just one of these, I'd definitely be able to live a good life from hereon out.' He thought, but again discarded it and quickly reminded himself of why he was here.
Time was of the essence.
Klimo turned to look at Crystal. She was leaning on one of the pillars by the side of the dome, watching him with her slightly glowing eyes and a broad smile on her face. Of course he only looked at her face, never daring to look anywhere below it.
'Hopefully, she won't realize what's about to happen.' He thought and approached the golden phoenix statue after he was sure he'd spent enough time looking around.
Now in front of the statue, he pretended to bask in its holy aura by closing his eyes, tilting his head up a little and inhaling deeply while Crystal watched.
'Thank you statue for your great energy. You'll be giving me a lot of exp now!' Klimo thought with excitement.
[Host is quite a good actor too] The system said. Somehow, Klimo could hear a light laugh in his head.
'I aim to please.'
Right then, he raised his hand and placed it on the statue's feet.

The same message appeared as the last time he touched the Phoenix's feet.
'Yes' Klimo muttered.

At once, Klimo felt a strange yet powerful surge of power flowing into his body from his hand. At that moment, he felt like he could do just about anything. His body trembled a bit and his brain felt ecstacy.
It took all his strength for him to not shout like a banshee!
In order not to arouse any suspicion, he kept a poker face and began saying some words since he couldn't just stand there saying nothing.
From Crystal's view, she saw Klimo as someone who although awed by her family's wealth did not lose his sense of dignity. He behaved absolutely normal. Almost like as if he'd forgotten that they were many levels apart, social and powers wise.
He seemed to love the temple more and she was glad he was not spooked by it but instead wanted to be a part of it. She thought he would be even less given to her once he realized that, but it seemed all her fears were for nothing after all.
She could see him praying to the statue while his hand was touching its feet. If her dad were here to see this, he'd surely accept him.
However, unknown to her, Klimo's 'prayer' went thus.
"Come on faster! Before she becomes suspicious! I can't let myself be caught robbing the temple of its most holy statue!'

The strange feeling had continued and intensified with every passing second and it was getting harder for Klimo to control his emotions. He had the urge to look back just to check if Crystal had noticed something was off, but he fought it as that would only make him seem suspicious.
Just as he could feel the energy entering into his body, he could also sense the aura of the statue reducing and right now, it was incomparable with its former state two minutes ago.
'If she hasn't come to me yet, then it means she probably hasn't noticed.' He thought.

Klimo neglected the message for now, immediately turning to Crystal who simply stood, watching him. She didn't seem suspicious of anything, but he couldn't really be sure.
'She could be faking it.' He thought and approached her with a fulfilled smile.
"We can leave now. I'm done."
