The next morning, Cailean woke up in the room where her nightmare began.
She woke up with the sunlight hitting her face, she covered her face with her hand.
She ran her fingers to her hair and tried to feel the bed beside her to see if the Alpha was still there. Fortunately, she felt nothing and she thinks maybe he went outside.
She doesn't know how to react, she sits on the bed slowly and her face twitches when she feels her body ache because of what Alpha Conri did to her.
She leaned on the head of the bed and hugged her knees with her head resting on it.
Suddenly, she heard the door open and based on its smell and his arrogant steps it was Alpha Conri.
He closed the door and said, "You're already awake."
His scent became stronger as he walked towards her, he kissed her forehead gently and said, "I'll ask some of the servants to help you tidy up yourself and let's have breakfast together."
"I don't need this sudden kindness from you." Cailean said before the Alpha closed the door.
He turned to her and said, "I didn't ask for your opinion." He closed the door and left.
Cailean sighed and tried to move her feet trying to get out of the bed herself. She held on the blanket that was covering her body with one hand and the other one was feeling the things around her, where she can use it as a support on walking inside the room.
She was already standing up when the door opened.
"Miss Cailean." A voice of a girl said and held on to her arm.
Cailean was surprised and tried to take her arm back but the maid gently guided her towards the bed and made her sit.
"I am one of the servants that Alpha Conri commanded to take care of your concerns, helping you take a bath and even to your clothes and make-up." She explained to her.
"Can you tell him that I don't need help and I want to go home." Cailean said to her.
"Sadly, we can't. We are told not to step out of this room unless we've finished what he asked us to do." The other servant explained to Cailean.
Cailean sighed and nodded.
The two lady servant gently helped her stand up and guided her towards the bathroom.
The one prepared her bath tub, they put bath soap and milk extract to it and when they were done they helped Cailean get inside it.
"Do you mind leaving me alone while I soak myself in here?" Cailean asked them.
"But-" One of the maids didn't finish what she was about to say.
"I am blind but I can still feel you guys staring at me and I find it uncomfortable. Just go back if I have to get out of here already." Cailean asked them politely.
"If that's what the lady wants, we'll go back after arranging your clothes and make-up." One of them said and bowed a little even though she couldn't see it.
The servants prepared everything for Cailean and when they were done, they got back to Cailean and helped her rinse herself and gave her the bath robe.
"Sit here, slowly." One the servants said while guiding her towards the chair in front of the mirror.
Cailean remained silent the whole time that the two servants were putting make-up on her.
"She looks simple yet elegant! The shades suit her so well." They whispered to each other. They smiled at each other and one of them added, "The Alpha will be happy with this outcome!"
"Do you want to know what we put on your face?" One of the servants politely asked Cailean.
Cailean shook her head, she was not interested even for a few seconds about it and said to them, "No, can I have my clothes please?"
"Of course." One of them said and left to get her, her clothes and the other one helped her to stand up so they could get her dressed.
They put on the dress to Cailean.
"What is this? This is not mine." Cailean said as she felt the unfamiliar softness of the dress and its nice smell.
"Alpha Conri wants you to wear this because your clothes from yesterday were already ruined." One of them explained.
After getting her dressed they comb her hair. Cailean runs her fingers carefully to her dress and by it she can tell that it's beautiful. The flower sequence and the lines of the thread on it.
"Perfect!" One of the maids exclaimed and clapped their hands.
"Thank you." Cailean said simply to them.
"I'm sure the Alpha will be happy to see you!" The servant with long hair said while smiling at her.
Cailean didn't react, to be honest she doesn't care about what Alpha Conri thinks about her. Why would she? When he took advantage of her weakness. He may be her mate but she doesn't like him and she doesn't think she will in the future.
"Are you done?!" Another servant shouted outside the door.
"That scared me." They uttered and even Cailean put her hand on her chest because of shock.
One of them opened the door and said, "We still need to add a few more touches and we're done."
"Okay, breakfast is ready; the Alpha is already waiting for her." She said and left after saying that.
"Okay, few things left." One of the servants said and they looked at Cailean and one of them was combing her hair and the other one was fixing the fit of her dress.
"Why can't I go against him? I did everything that my grandfather taught me how to fight but none of it helped me from his hands. He's too strong." Cailean said in her mind as she reminisced about what happened yesterday.
While combing her hair the servant saw something on her nape, she mouthed with her mouth open a little, "A moon."
The other servant saw her reaction and went behind her back and saw it as well, they looked at each other and they already knew what it meant.
"She-" One of the maids opened her mouth but the other hand immediately covered her mouth and signaled her to be quiet.
"Shhii, we already know who she is, we don't have to say it out loud." She said to the other servant.
The moon is a sign that she already mated to an Alpha, that it means she is their Luna.
The other servant nodded, she looked at Cailean and said, "Now, let's finish this up."
After that they guided Cailean downstairs where the dining area was.
"Alpha, our visitor has come." The servant announced and Alpha Conri looked at Cailean.
He noticed the change in her; she looks extra beautiful when she's wearing make-up and good quality clothes.
He stood up and walked towards her, he looked at her from head to toe and a smile escaped his lips. He caressed her angel-like face gently with a smile on his face and said, "Let's have breakfast."
Cailean didn't say anything and let the Alpha guide her to her seat.
When she was already sitting Alpha Conri went back to his seat and asked her, "What do you want to eat first? Or do you want me to choose for you?"
"I want to go home." Cailean said with a blank face.
"You will, but you have to eat first." Alpha Conri said to her calmly.
"I want to go now." Cailean said firmly.
"No, you will eat then you will go. I told your grandfather to go back this morning to get you." Alpha Conri said to her.
"What? My grandfather came? Why didn't you tell me? I could've gone with him." Cailean said with a frown on her face.
Alpha Conri signaled the servant beside her to put food on her plate then said, "That is because you're already sleeping and I don't want to wake you up. You're eating and leaving or you'll not eat but not leave as well?"
Cailean let out a sigh of defeat and the servant next to her helped her with her food.
"I've only been here for one day, but he's already controlling me. I don't want this; I'm like inside the prison not the palace." Cailean said inside her mind.
They ate their breakfast quietly, and after that one of the servants guided her to the living room where Alpha Conri was and read his newspaper.
Cailean sat on the sofa with her hands on her lap without saying anything.
A few minutes after Leikos arrived.
"Alpha Conri, good morning!" Leikos greeted the Alpha and bowed a little to show his respect.
Cailean's eyebrow raised and her hands started to wander in the air reaching for her grandfather.
Leikos walked fast to her so that she would not fall from the sofa and said, "Cailean, I'm here."
Cailean hugged her grandfather with her hands trembling.
"Thank you so much Alpha Conri." Leikos said and stood up in front of the Alpha and bowed a little.
Alpha Conri stood up and said while looking at Beta Farkas, "Take them home."
Alpha Conri walked towards him and whispered, "When you take them home, look around their house and tell me whatever you notice."
Beta Farkas nodded and looked at Leikos who was guiding Cailean at her every step.
"You don't have to take us home, we've been living inside the forest for enough time so, we know our way." Leikos said when they reached where the two were.
"I insist!" Alpha Conri said and nodded at Beta Farkas.
Leikos nodded and held Cailean's arm again, Beta Farkas followed them and when they reached the gate he asked, "We're not taking a car?"
"We are going to the forest; the car can't go there because there is no way for vehicles. You don't have to go with us, if you don't like walking, it will be a long walk." Leikos explained and continued going out of the gate.
"It's fine, I can walk that much." Beta Farkas said and looked at the two guards behind him and nodded, the three followed them to their house.
Leikos and Cailean walked in front of them, and when they were already in the middle of the forest they could see their house.
"We're almost there." Leikos said and looked at them.
Beta saw their house and the outside of their house were filled with different kinds of plants and flowers, he said in his mind, "It's medicine, for sure."
They arrived at their house and let Beta Farkas inside their house.
"Please wait here, I'll bring you some water." Leikos said to him.
Beta Farkas looked around the house and there's nothing much to see, their house is small and made of wood.
Leikos gave him the water and asked, "Do you need anything?"
Beta Farkas shook his head, he took a sip and said, "No, I'll be leaving now."
Leikos nodded and saw him out of their house.
Beta Farkas left with the two guards and when he can't see them no more, he went to Cailean.
"What happened?" Leikos asked her.
Cailean took a sigh and said, "I was hunting yesterday and I didn't know that it was a big wild animal that I struck my arrow with. I ran away from him but I slipped and wounded my knees. I shouted for help and that's when the Alpha came and Beta Farkas to help me. Oh, I left my bow and arrow in the forest, can you go and take it for me?"
Leikos sighed and nodded, he held her hand and then asked, "I'll get it for you, but let me ask you. Did the Alpha do something bad to you?"
Cailean's lips trembled, as much as she wants to lie to her grandfather; she can't because he will eventually know it. She lowered down her head and her shoulders started shaking.
"He is my mate… and he took advantage of me the whole night." She said while crying.
Leikos hugged her and sighed then said, "This is what I've been preventing from happening."
Cailean held on to his hand and said, "I'm scared, grandfather. I can't do anything when it comes to him, I did everything you taught me but it didn't do anything. He was too strong for me. I can't fight him."
Leikos felt sorry for his granddaughter. He hugged her again and caressed her back while crying.
"Let's go somewhere else, far away from here… I'm scared of what he will do to me again." Cailean said and lowered her head.
When Cailean lowered her head, he saw the mark on her nape. He sighed and said, "I want that too, but sad to say… He already marked you and he can find us anywhere we go."
"Huh?" Cailean asked and felt the mark on her nape. She clenched her fist and said, "Maybe we can still do something."
"We can but it will all be worthless." Leikos said and lowered his head sadly and caressed her hand.

Meanwhile, in the palace, Beta Farkas informed Alpha Conri of what he saw around and inside Cailean and her grandfather's house.
"Are you sure that there's only a few wooden furniture inside and medicinal plants outside?" Alpha Conri asked him.
"I'm sure, I looked around and those were the things I saw." Beta Farkas explained to him. He then added, "I can tell that they were already living there for a long time, they know the way very well."
Alpha Conri nodded and rested his chin on the back of his hands and said, "Hmm, investigate them, give me everything you will find about them. I need to know why they are wasting their life inside the forest."
"I will." Beta Farkas said and left immediately to do what the Alpha asked him to do.
