After taking a deep breath, Leikos said to his granddaughter, "Rest first, because I know you're exhausted from your journey here. Take a bath to get rid of any filth you may have picked up along the journey, and then put on some comfy clothes before you sleep."
Leikos said after taking a glance at Cailean's outfit, "I observe that you're uncomfortable, and you're definitely dissatisfied with what you're wearing right now."
"I don't care for this dress, despite the fact that it is gorgeous and pricey. My discomfort with it is compounded by the fact that I'm purposely upset." After responding, Cailean's displeasure could be seen even more clearly in her expression on her face.
When his granddaughter had spoken, Leikos laughed and nodded his head, saying, "All right! Put on your clothes." And he was the first to leave the room.
Upon her grandfather's leaving the room, Cailean began to feel her surroundings until she was able to sense the small closet in which her clothes were stored.
"Why was I requested to wear this?" Cailean inquired, a tinge of annoyance in her voice as she spoke.
Cailean emptied her old clothes from the small closet and promptly removed the beautiful and costly garments from the same closet, where they belonged. Then she threw it in a basket next to her and changed into her old clothes.
While feeling the softness of her clothing, Cailean smiled and stated, "I'm at ease right now."
Cailean lay down on her bed to rest for a while after she was able to change her clothes because she could still feel pain all over her body after changing her clothes.
That man is quite the irritant! I can still feel the anguish in my body as a result of what he did to me. I will never forgive him for what he did, and I hope that we will never meet up with fate again. Why did he end up as my partner? Why did the Moon Goddess choose him to be my mate? We are not in the same status in life, he is an Alpha and I am a rogue. I don't think we will be happy. That was going through Cailean's head as she shut her eyes and tried to relieve the discomfort she's experiencing.
Cailean was about to rest when she heard and felt footsteps approaching her door. She sat up gently in her bed after smelling her grandfather's scent.
"Grandpa, do you need anything from me?" Cailean inquired and a smile on her lips.
He looked at his granddaughter with a wry smile before responding, "Cailean, I'm leaving then."
It was Cailean who pinched her brows and asked, "Where are you going? Would you like me to accompany you?"
"You do not need to accompany me. Don't worry, I'll be right back here at our place as soon as possible." Leikos stated his reasoning with a nod of his head.
"What are you going to do?" Cailean inquired, taking a big breath before responding. "Can you tell me why you have to leave?"
"I know you're only concerned about me, I will look for your bow and arrow." Leikos responded while keeping an eye on Cailean.
Cailean responded with a nod and the words, "Is that true? All right, but be cautious!"
Cailean lay down on the bed once again as Leikos quietly closed the door to her chamber and departed, leaving Cailean to continue her sleep.
Cailean's father taught her how to shoot and aim with an arrow when she was a young child. That has been the warmth and bonding that have been between the two of them previously. Finally, it was her father's advice that helped Cailean become good at shooting and aiming.
*Flash back.*
"Take a stance before shooting the bow. Standing straight with your feet shoulder width apart and your feet at 90 degrees to the target is a good idea." While altering her position, her father provides an explanation.
As soon as Cailean's father established the proper stance for holding the bow and arrow, he instructed her, "Keep a relaxed grasp on the bow handle. The bow should be turned so that it is horizontal and the arrow rest is pointed upwards. Placing the arrow on the shelf of the arrow rest is the next step. Using your thumb, gently press the nock of the arrow onto the string between the two brass nocking points, making sure that the fletch of the arrow is pointed upward. Return the bow to its vertical position."
When Cailean agreed, her father said, "Place your fingers on the string with the index finger above the arrow and two fingers below."
"The thread should be tucked into the final crease of your index and middle fingers. Make sure you do not hold the arrow with your fingers. Pulling the string back with your back muscles, rather than your biceps or arms, is recommended. Pull the string back until the index finger of the pulling hand is under the chin and the string touches the bridge of your nose and the corners of your lips."
"Bring your dominant eye down the arrow and align it with the target. Allow your fingers to slip backwards as you relax your grip on the string. After you've finished shooting, keep your body in the same position." He explained, and he smiled when his daughter hit her goal with great precision.
Until her father died, she was still inclined to shoot and simply carried on with what she and her father had begun. No matter how many rehearsals and lessons her father gave her, she didn't let them all go away into nothingness. She tried everything she could to make her father even more proud of her, and she was successful in doing so.
Following her blindness, Cailean noticed an improvement in her senses of hearing, smell, and touch, which spurred her on to develop her practice even more. She did not allow her blindness to prevent her from being a weak performer in this field. She is able to accomplish activities that make her happy with the help of her grandfather, even when she is unable to see clearly in her immediate surroundings.
Cailean's eyes were still a little translucent, but they were hazy and not very visible.
"What? Doesn't what you're seeing appear to be crystal clear?" Leikos asked his granddaughter, who was looking at him with tears in her eyes.
"My grandfather, I can see something, but I can't really see what you're showing me very clearly." Cailean said, gently shaking his head at his grandfather.
Leikos attempted to treat her and the foreign object that had been placed in her eyes, but the wound did not heal.
"Have you had a chance to view anything yet? In terms of the herbal medicine I used, how do you feel about it?" Leikos inquired as he held the herbs he had placed in Cailean's eyes in his hands.
Cailean took a long breath to bring his surroundings back to normalcy before responding, "I'm sorry, Grandpa, but I don't see anything... When I take these herbs, I get a cold, yet it has no effect on my eyes."
Cailean, on the other hand, did not bother to go to the doctor because of poverty.
"What makes you so certain that you don't want us to go to the doctor? I have the ability to borrow enough money to-"
Cailean interrupted Leikos before he could finish what he was going to say, "My grandfather, if I continue to be in this position, I will be fine. My actions are not hindered by the fact that I have lost my sight. In addition, we do not have enough money to seek treatment or to visit a doctor."
Then, after taking a deep breath, Leikos simply stood there and watched his granddaughter sit up and smile at him.
*End of flash back.*
Since her parents' died in that accident, Leikos has taken care of her, but because her parents did not inherit anything from her, she has been left impoverished. As a result, they have decided to live in the forest, where they will not have to pay rent.
From the outside, this house appears to be old, yet it is actually quite beautiful. It is constructed of spruce wood and has white cedar wood ornamentation on the exterior. Small, half-rounded windows light up the house and have been added to it in an asymmetrical pattern to give it a more modern appearance.
There is a tiny kitchen and one bathroom in the house, as well as a comfortable living room, two bedrooms, and small dining space. The home itself is surrounded by a modest garden, which is largely grass with a few flower beds and a tiny pond in the middle.
That house was built entirely by Leikos himself, using only his own hands and wood from the forest.
Cailean is nearly eighteen years old and is a student at a local high school. However, she does not always complete her studies because she is bullied by other kids at her school or because her family does not have enough money to support her through her studies.
"What are you doing in this place? It seems to me as though you should be in the forest picking up some weeds."
"Keep your distance from us! It's possible that your blindness will spread to us!"
"Maybe you're a witch, after all. Let's go, and who knows, maybe that woman will turn out to be a witch."
"Could it be that you cursed your parents and they've vanished?"
All of this is something she hears all the time from other students at her school, but she doesn't pay attention to them any longer because she already knows that they are powerless.
So Cailean is still in her third year of high school, but she is putting in the effort to further her education because she understands that it is the only thing she can obtain that will not be stolen.
She continues to attend school despite the fact that many pupils mock and bully her since it is what her parents want and the only thing she has left to offer them.

Cailean woke up early the next morning and prepared to go to class as soon as possible.
She became aware of her surroundings until she detected the aroma of her grandfather's clothing and the presence of his body in front of her.
"Good morning, my grandfather!" Cailean greeted Leikos with a smile on her lips as she sensed him.
Leikos smiled back at his granddaughter and answered, "Good morning too! I'm happy to tell you that I've located your missing bow and arrow."
When Cailean felt her grandfather place it in her hands, her eyes lit up with excitement. She sensed that item and was having a great time doing so since she was consciously appreciating it at the moment. She wore it on her body as well as in her little purse.
"Thank you so much, Grandpa! I really appreciate it!" Cailean spoke to her grandfather with a glint in her eyes, as if she were talking to herself.
Leikos caressed his granddaughter's head and murmured, "I'm delighted you're happy."
Leikos took her to the front of the school until he said, "Here we go."
Cailean said her goodbyes to her grandfather and then headed to her school. She is accompanied by a long stick that serves as a navigational aid.
Her memory of the inside of both the school and her room is so strong that she no longer need to sends by anyone inside. It's also awkward to be tempted by other students when she is at university.
"Cailean!" Lena yelled, and she dashed closer to her side.
Cailean stopped walking when she heard Lena call her name just as she was about to enter.
"Hello, Lena, and good morning! How are you doing?" Cailean inquired, a smile on her lips, as she asked.
Lena bowed her head and murmured, "I'm fine, and a pleasant morning to you as well! What kind of sleep did you have last night?"
"I had a good night's sleep last night." Cailean replied to her friend.
"Well, that's good! Come on! Let's go into the room together." Lena remarked as she took Cailean's hand in hers.
After a short while, they entered the room and took their seats. They waited for their teacher to enter the room and begin teaching them.

Meanwhile, Alpha Conri is in the car with Beta Farkas, who serves as both their secretary and his assistant.
"Before we head to the office, let's first stop at Full Moon School so you can see the new laboratory you developed." The Beta said this while his tone was solemn.
"Okay." Alpha Conri nodded as he looked outside.
When they arrived at the school, they were greeted by Mrs. Sophia Casarez, the Principal and Raquel Gomez the head teacher, who instantly made them feel welcome.
"We're pleased you came to school!" The words came out of Sophia's mouth with a broad smile on her face.
They were taken on a tour of the new scientific laboratory. They have already finished the materials for the students who are still taking this class.
Alpha Conri took a close look at the equipment and examined each piece one by one while Mrs. Raquel explained everything to them.
