-Natasha-
I was left speechless by this storming discovery; Aron was Clarissa's good husband! This would most certainly be a betrayal one would struggle to get over. Naturally Clarissa had started hating me five years ago when I despite being her friend went on to have sex with a man who was not only her ex but was more of an abomination to the whole circle and family, a man they not only hated but seemed to be disgusted, I tried to think what extents Clarissa would go take her anger if she had found out about this, but also if she hadn't she'd continue living under this much deception. Back then I had been naïve which was probably a reason why Clarissa could find it in her heart to overlook this disgusting deed I'd done but now I knew better, and not knowing that Aron was her man was my fault because I was the one who had decided not to give a damn about their wedding, my ignorance had gotten the good of me. I looked aside in disappointment, but she wouldn't take her quizzical glare off me, I had to finish what I'd started, that's what she probably thought.
"Do you know him?" She finally asked, I shook my head slowly but guiltily. Well normally I would know my friend's husband so 'yes' would be a better answer in this case with a fabricated explanation to back it up, but I never knew Aron till the day Rin introduced him to me, so basically, Rin was the snake but exposing her right now would be rather predictable and it would backfire terribly so I had to act naïve and play along to Clarissa's song, no matter how upset she would be in the end, they all had to know why all of us would soon be miserable and loveless while Rin enjoyed Merlin's company which she wasn't worthy of, that is if she'd even be lucky enough to be accepted after this, I thought but for some reason I couldn't help but consider these thoughts rogue.
"Where have you seen him Natasha?" she demanded. I frantically shook my head dramatically portraying that I was actually freaked out seeing this man.
"I need to leave" I acted, she bought it. "Natasha, what's wrong, where will you go at this time of the night, you have a child?" She cried. My goal was to expose her husband in a way that'd put me up as a victim, even though at this point in her eyes I was beyond that, at least my daughter had to be worthy of salvation. "If I stay here, he'll alert Mike, and I'll be dead before you know it". She was quiet, and then shrugged. "My husband is a God fearing man Natasha, he doesn't do Mike!" she said, this was going to be more heart-breaking than I had planned and I regretted having to do this to the woman who was willing to save my life.
"I know this man, he is the closest thing there is to Mike, and if you do not believe me, you should try and think about where he spends his nights" I could see by the change in her facial expression that she was starting to take me quite seriously.
"Now who do you think you are eh? How dare you talk about my husband like that girl?" she said, I wasn't willing to get her to slap me like Rin had done so I stepped back when she advanced towards me.
"I am the bitch—no, in your language, I am the harlot who fu*ked your husband two weeks ago" She stopped moving and the gloom in her face turned to fear, which would indefinitely turn into wrath.
"No Natasha you didn't" She cried as she broke down falling to her knees, I tried to help her up but she pushed me away. Now that I had managed to break her heart, I had to introduce the true perpetrator into the scene.
"How could you?" she cried, but generally that was who I am, I don't know why she chose to overlook this fact. It actually made me uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry Clarissa, it wasn't my intentions…"
"Just shut up and leave—" she screamed leaving her speech incomplete
"I swear, I didn't know him, Rin basically introduced him to me as Aron Black, I didn't know you were Mrs. Black"
"What was that?"
"I didn't know he was," there was quite a few seconds of silence before she finally decided. I only hoped that she had heard the keywords, Rin. Her lifelong friend, she's the one who had given Aron to me, though through Mike's reference, if she were a good friend, she'd give me a heads up, and of course she'd never kiss my man right in front of me.
"I think yeah, you should leave"
There was another wave of silence as I hoped she would change her mind; however that wasn't the case so I headed towards her baby's room, to get Melissa.
"Natasha!" She stopped me.
"Let her be, it's midnight, she needs to rest, and probably take a break from irresponsible arms" that was painful and it hit hard, but I just had to thank her,
I walked out of her house and headed into my car, I spent the rest of the night there watching Clarissa's house, she never switched the lights back off. Before the break of dawn I drove off to Merlin's place, my future was kind of bleak now so he just had to know about his baby from me, the moment I stopped the car, I was sandwiched by two other cars, I couldn't drive forward or reverse, I quickly jumped off the driver's seat and ran towards Merlin's house, one man grabbed me from behind before I even made it halfway, he was too strong for me to even try fighting. Another came and covered my mouth with some cloth.
