There would be times when I'd shut and lock myself up in my room, see his face in my daughter and hen the next day I'd see him at Clermont club hanging out with Rin. I had learnt to control my tears and place my heart's desires aside so that I could have more money to raise my daughter so she'd become a better person but whenever his face would appear in my mind, I'd still feel weak, even as I worked to satisfy my clients, I would freak out and get this close to ruining the black rose's reputation. Given a chance to fly away, I was no longer sure if I'd take it but the moment I was with him in his house, I knew where I belonged.
I thought I'd always been wrong to push him away... Well maybe I was but, why the fuck was Rin kissing him? Well, I did go to the airport just as she'd told me but I was a bit late, I wanted to tell him about Melissa, how I got to be pregnant, how I found out about it to the point when I gave birth to Melissa. I stood there holding Melissa's tiny hand while I watched Rin kiss Merlin, she really did kiss him. I wondered if she'd seen me and wanted me to feel some sort of heartbreak. Well it was working very well. I don't know why but it actually was, I wondered if Merlin had felt the same way for the last three years that he'd been stalking me. Just when I thought I'd gone away from him, my heart still continued to beat for him, it still longed for him. Oh my God, I thought. Rin started walking towards me after bidding farewell to Merlin. I saw her coming so I chose to wait until she was close then I took Melissa's arm and walked towards Rin. My mind danced in so many places having so many questions I couldn't find answers to, before I knew it, I had slapped Rin right in the face, forgetting that I had a child with me, my child, Merlin's daughter.
"Is this what you wanted my daughter to see." I fumed on her face.
"What, did you just hit me, girl you've got the balls." She fiercely whispered to my face almost as if about to bite if I may. She looked down at my daughter and bent over to say hi, Melissa looked terrified, so she stepped back and held my leg so tight. Well, she just didn't fight back because of Melissa and the fact that we were in public, I had to quickly turn and walk away before I lost my humanity and dignity in a public space like that.
She did let me leave in peace but I wondered how long this would last, I mean I had started a feud with the most influential girl in all of Hannival community and it was not going to end well. Clermont club was my life, and too bad she was as good as the owner of the club. Rin had introduced me to my first date at Clermont club, a month after I arrived into the United States.

I walked out of Church with everybody else, what a service it'd been for everyone, well for me... As normal as any other day as I was still depressed from the job scam, I never felt my presence in Church that day, I was planning my departure from the United States back to Italy. After a month of toiling, no one was really willing to hire me into a proper job despite my degree in Business management and entrepreneurship and the job scam, it almost got me. Oh how I wished I was with Merlin, he was still studying medicine at the University of Rome and I knew he'd be the best doctor there was because of his kindness and generosity. Well I was with Moana and Rin when we were dismissed from church and they invited me over for lunch along with Clarissa, Moana's close friend.
"What'll we have for lunch ladies?" Rin asked, well she was the better cook after all,
"It's a Sunday, we can go out alright." responded Clarissa and Moana seemed to support the point as she always did with every other point raised by her friend.
"Damn right, our numbers are increasing now, it's going to be a lot of fun". I smiled shyly and listened as they talked and talked until we were ready to leave.
"So where are we headed, you know your places Rin?" Asked Clarissa
"How about the club,"
"Hell no, not on a Sunday, I still have the holy spirit in me," protested Moana.
"Hey Natasha, why don't you suggest a place?" Moana suggested ignoring the fact that I was, well I was new in the area, however I'd done a little digging on the restaurants and ice cream places while I was busy trying to find at least an excuse for a job. I pointed out the nearest local restaurant for lunch; well Clarissa liked it since it was to save us from spending a lot of money. Well Rin and Moana not much since they wanted more fun for the day, anyway since they gave me the privilege of choosing there was no taking it back. We walked our way to the restaurant, it was simple and straight up, and you eat chat and leave, nothing complex about it. Just before we got in, a big black and shiny car pulled over just beside us and the windows were wind down, well a rich looking guy waved hello. Rin seemed dramatically happy to see him, Clarissa on the other hand looked disgusted and Moana just ignored and walked into the restaurant, I followed her, and Clarissa was just behind me, Rin remained behind to have a word with him.
