Raphael's POV
Pissed is an understatement to describe how am feeling. Standing before the inactive portal in the centre of the castle.
" Oh brother, leaving so soon?" Skhemmaria said Coming up to stand beside me. Her bright eyes looking up at me void of emotions. " Were you seriously going to leave without saying goodbye?" She pouted. I raised my eyebrow at her in question. " Aren't you suppose to rejoice?" I deadpan. She laughed dryly and said," oh brother I still hate you don't worry about that."
" Then why are you here?" I asked void of emotion.
" Oh don't be like that," she said trying to break through.
" It's just that,' she flipped her hair over her shoulder,"am excited to finally have a more desirable sibling than the likes of you of course." I hummed my response just as Malia opened the portal behind us, I gave her the coordinates of where we are headed not needless to repeat myself Infront of my evil sister.
Oh yeah, she's evil.
Since childhood she's always been out to kill me because I took the right as heir from her; so she says. Problem is even if she was older she would have never been the queen of this kingdom. That's just it, so right now she just has to accept me being crowned king soon. Brandon, Malia, Cleopatra, Eva, Natasha and I stepped into the portal disappearing behind the waterfall of colours and out into the night sky in Florida. We were in an alley way between two buildings.
" I've got a bad feeling about Skhemmaria," Brandon started pulling the straps of his bag pack. " I second that", I said leading the way. " We'll deal with her when we have my mate, until then Caleb is picking us up in exactly sixty seconds," and right on time, Caleb's car turned into the alley. Malia was extatic when her brother popped the car door open and stepped out. She literally threw herself at him and he hugged her with a huge grin on his face. " I see that Prince Raphael has been taking good care of you," he tucked some strands of her hair behind her ear. He looked around and I knew he was searching for Zara. " Where's Zara?" Caleb asked making everyone stiffen instantly. " We are.... no longer bonded," I said getting into the front seat of the SUV. Everyone followed suit and before long we were at my house.
" Soon our mate will be with us," he purred. " Your just horny." " We are both horny for her." "True."I chuckled as the secret conversation in my mind transported me to another place.
My house was on the heel top. It had a drive way that ended in a roundabout at the front entrance. The front was mostly glass as it was shielded by palm trees from the main road. The land that overflowed around it was full of trees and it of course all belonged to me. We stopped at the gate that guarded my property. It was about thirteen feet tall in height gold and bras were it's build. Though I chose to paint it black and had little golden rings that went around the bars making up most of its body.
" Open," I said into the talking to inform my guards of my arrival. The clinging sounds of matal broke through the silence of the night as the gate broke in the middle to let us in. " Don't close I've activated the shield," I instructed my guards through the walkie." Well come to my den," I said to the ladies in the back seat," I hope it will be magical," I let my accent slip only making them giggle. " Seems like someone's in a good mood," Brandon started and I turned my attention to him not letting my big grin slip. " I can feel her she's not far," I perrd as I sunk into my seat watching as Caleb pulled the car to a stop at the front of the house. The helpers got out to take our large. They all descended from Bastes our cousins. Relationship between the lion and the cat has happened but is rare, since there our cousins it's said there's a possibility that I as heir to the throne can bare a true heir with the cat, but it's not a hundred percent guarantee. It can take years just grinding our garments to even get a result. We all exited the car and made our way to the house. My front door just like all the doors in the house and our castle had a sign of goddess Sekhment our solar deity. The sun disk, red lines and lioness all carved into the wooden door. I entered to a welcoming smell of food only making my evening special.
" Make plans for tomorrow morning. She's close but I need her closer," Brandon nodded as I handed him a paper with the name of a school on it and he went his way to my study to talk to Opah, a friend of ours who's also a wolf. She's the only contact we have that helps us get around this human world and she's cool with us unlike the rest of her kind; so we are cool with her.
" We're in". Brandon shouted from the other side of the house. " Good," I replied.
