Phillip's POV
"Is this your boy, Jenny?" the man asks
"Yes tis", she smiles and strokes the man's chest.
"Am I missing something here?" I ask as the man begins to clean my leg.
"This is my husband, Sammual. He is our pack doctor", she says taking a seat next to me.
"What are you really doing here, Phillip? Your father took you to live wit that bastard and took ye away from your true family. I ken one of the highborns you brought is his son, no?"
Her eyes went from sweet caring mother to ruthless Alpha effortlessly is almost surprised me...but I knew this woman. I knew what she was capable of
"I told you, Elenore pissed off the king. She said the wrong things and he was going to hurt her. He was just looking for a reason to capture her and invade her homeland. Tristam gave me a Fash drive and I know why..." I tell her. I feel the doctor begin to stitch the wound on the back of my leg. It had healed on its own but it still needed to be closed.
