Lorenzo's grin might as well have been one of the most horrifying things Maria had ever seen. It was beautiful, yes, but scary nonetheless. She wondered what news he was receiving from his caller to earn such a reaction. They, along with the three capos, sat together in Maria's office planning their next line of operation when Lorenzo's phone rudely interrupted them.
It seems he didn't mind the interruption at all.
When he finally put the phone down, he met eyes with Maria. What was going on? she asked silently, raising her brows. The three words that left his lips made Maria happier than she had ever been in the past three years;
"We got him."
"Got who?" Antonio asked, wanting to make sure they were all on the same page.
"Diablo, we got the bastard." Lorenzo replied, his grin still on his face and his gaze fixed on his smiling angel.
