Jason's POV
It was getting towards evening and here I was still training. My feet were burning and my hands were sore but it was okay, I was willing to endure for the sake of what was at stake.
Seeing Gieon raising his hand, a flash of purple energy shot toward me, and I quickly jumped out of the way just in time to dodge his attack.
"You're improving." He said. "But you'll never win if you don't take the initiative to attack me." He raised his fist, again about to throw another round of lightning at me but right at the same time, I could swear that I saw a figure clad entirely in black with silver hair sticking out from under the hood that covered its head suddenly appearing.
But as I didn't have enough time to decide if what I saw was real or if it was just some crazy hallucination, Gieon sent me flying back with a barrage of lightning.
