I felt my body screaming out in pain.
It was like I was being electrocuted, and the feeling was like a searing fire that engulfed my entire being.
I was trying to hold on to consciousness and tried opening my eyes, but they felt so heavy that I couldn't force them open at all.
My mind had completely shut down and it felt like my soul was going down a tunnel, slipping into an endless abyss of darkness that seemed to take forever to reach any other surface.
Everything around me faded and disappeared leaving me with nothing but blackness….just absolute darkness.
I didn't know where I was as my mind kept drifting aimlessly, and then I wondered, maybe this was death after all? Maybe this is how it feels like to be dead?
