Jason's POV
This was it....the moment I'd long awaited for... and I could hear myself breathing in a shallow breath as all was left for me was to break through the barrier around the forest to pass.
For a very long time now, I had dreamt of this day and how it would feel like to finally see the world outside of this forest that I had been confined to live in for a whole five years of my life, and now that I'm here,...I'm not really sure what to think or how to feel about it....but one thing is that it sure does feel surreal.
" Jason." A soft voice called me back into reality from my daze. I snapped out of my thoughts and turned around quickly to look at my Nina who stood behind me smiling softly with concern written all over her face.
"Are you sure you really want to do this?" She asked, her eyebrows knitting together into a worried frown.
"Yes," I answered immediately without any hesitation whatsoever.
