A middle-aged man stood in front of them. His eyes widened and trembled at Felix. When Felix turned his face, he immediately prostrated in front of him.
"Your Majesty!" He exclaimed in a trembling voice.
"Stand up. Don't let others see you." Felix's face was still as stoic as ever.
Holly looked at them in turn. Did Felix know him? She didn't see the surprise on Felix's face.
The man stood at Felix's orders. He stared at the ground, not daring to look Felix straight in the eye.
"Who is he?" Holly was confused by this situation.
"Our people," said Felix. His voice was cold and heavy again. Holly didn't understand why Felix suddenly changed like this in front of other people.
Hearing Holly's question, the man looked up. How surprised he was when he saw Holly standing next to Felix. His hand was raised, pointing at Holly with a disgusted expression.
"She's a traitor, Your Majesty!"
Holly stepped back. She let her guard down, and the man saw her face. Luckily no one else was looking at them.
But Felix stepped forward while holding Holly's hand, making her have to go ahead again. Holly didn't dare protest as she saw Felix's face hardened. His jaw looked firmer with an angry face.
"A traitor?" Felix asked. It was obvious that he looked angry. Unfortunately, the man was too focused on Holly to realize Felix was ready to pounce on him.
"Yes! Her father killed the crown prince! This woman should be dead. What did Your Majesty do with-" The man suddenly stopped talking when he saw how angry Felix was.
"Crown Prince, you say? I've never had children. So who is that Crown Prince you mean?"
That man gulped. His skin was as pale as cotton, realizing what he had just done wrong. His legs trembled, and finally giving upon him, he slumped to the ground pitifully.
"I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I..." He couldn't come up with an excuse. Living too long pretending to be human, made him forget who the real King was.
Felix didn't accept an apology that easily. "So you're the one who tortured her a lot? Do you know who is she?"
The man nodded frantically. "Re-reloux, Your Majesty."
"You know who Reloux is for me?"
The man nodded again. He almost cried from the fear. While Holly stood still, she had no intention of stopping Felix or provoking him. She just didn't understand why Felix was so angry. She should be the one who is angry, not Felix.
"The high knight Lord Justin," replied the man. His body trembled even more as Felix touched his neck, ready to break his neck at any moment.
"He should be your King, not that stupid human! You should know your place!" Felix pushed the man until he rolled to the ground.
Holly immediately grabbed Felix's hand before he could go any further. She didn't care if Felix hurt him. She might watch it in amusement, but it will be a trouble if people see them. Better to stay away from the commotion than their disguise getting exposed.
Felix huffed in annoyance. He still wanted to vent his anger. However, Holly insisted on not letting go of his hand.
"Enough. Don't draw attention." Holly whispered into his ear.
Felix took a deep breath. Holly was right, he should be calm and not provoke a commotion.
"If you open your mouth about my existence. My shadows will be happy to ripen your throat." Felix showed his evil smirk. He just needed to raise his hand, and then his knights would come out to attack this man.
The man prostrated in fear. "No, Your Majesty. I'll keep my mouth shut!"
Still annoyed, Felix embraced Holly to leave. Felix was afraid of losing his temper again if he stayed there too long.

"How did he know you were here? Didn't you take a suppressant?"
They started walking down the busier area. This road led to the capital, so many nobles passed through it. Along the way, many fancy shops were selling expensive goods around here. This place was very different from a market filled with commoners.
"My pheromone must be too strong to cover," Felix answered.
"What are pheromones?"
Felix wasn't sure how to explain. He didn't have a theory that Holly could easily understand.
"Smell," he said casually. It was the easiest way for Holly to understand.
It was actually more than just scent. Each werewolf has a pheromone that can be used to identify each other. The smell caused by pheromones was a marker of who that person was.
As an alpha King, Felix has a powerful pheromone that makes people fall to their knees in front of him. Every wolf, even ordinary animal, has the instinct to fear of him. And it can also work on humans without those humans realizing it.
"What if someone recognizes you again?" Holly looked around, starting to feel uncomfortable with the upper-class crowds.
"I'll silence them. Humans don't know who I am, so don't worry."
But they could recognize Holly. She covered half of her face with a handkerchief, afraid that someone might see her.
Felix stopped in front of a fancy-looking shop. Many cakes were lined up neatly from the front of the shop, inviting guests to come in and buy them.
"What is that beautiful thing? Is that a pillow?" Felix seemed interested in the cakes.
Holly was shocked by that question. She thought Felix was joking, but then she realized that the carnivore never ate cake.
"That's a cake shop. That beautiful thing is cake. You can eat it if you want."
Felix raised his eyebrows. This was the first time he had heard of cake.
To release Felix's curiosity, they finally entered the cake shop. Felix ordered a strawberry cake and paid with his other gold. The shop also provided a place for them to eat it. But there were too many people there, and Holly didn't want to take the risk.
"I need a private place," said Felix without hesitation.
The seller happily escorted them to the second floor. He must have thought Felix was a wealthy noble looking to squander money, so he welcomed him very well.
The second floor was very quiet. However, they could see the scenery from there. The street was crowded with carriages and high-class ladies walking around, clearly visible from above and no one paying attention to Holly. The place was perfect.
Felix took a spoon of the cake and ate it. He winced at the soft and sweet sensation in his mouth.
"This is weird." But he ate it again.
Holly wanted to laugh. Never in her life had she thought would watch a wolf eat a cake.
"There was no cake in your era?"
Felix shook his head. He was still frowning with big mouthfuls of cakes. He must really like the cake.
"I'll make you a cake in the castle."
"You can?" Felix looked surprised. He must have thought that Holly couldn't cook.
"Of course. I used to make it a lot."
Felix took a spoonful of cake and fed it to Holly. "You have to eat it to make it."
Holly accepted the cake shyly. The cake tasted sweeter this way.
A woman suddenly walked into the second floor. Holly immediately covered her face again. The woman brought warm tea that went very well with this sweet cake.
"I bring the tea, My Lord." She put a pot of tea and two cups of tea on the table and then excused herself to go.
Holly was a little surprised. Why were their cups filled with tea? They should just serve empty cups and teapots.
It seemed that Felix had something on his mind as well. He sipped the hot tea until the glass was empty. Holly also wanted to follow him. This tea had a delicious aroma.
Holly raised her cup, but Felix suddenly brushed her hand away. The cup fell to the floor, breaking into pieces.
"Don't drink it. It's poisonous."
