Arriving at the terrace of the said restaurant, Fleya sat down on a chair right in front of Flux.
Although it was faint, Flux felt a bit of killing intent coming from her.
No one dared to talk, thus, the surrounding area remained quiet.
Flux after sipping an expensive orange juice placed the glass on the table and began eating an expensive steak.
"..."
Fleya was speechless. She found it hard to believe and strange as to why he can do this calmly without getting nervous or scared at all.
But Fleya did not complain, rather, she stayed quiet and watched his strange demeanor moving forward.
She had many questions in mind that required an answer right away but given the current circumstance, she guessed giving him some time to answer wasn't bad either.
It wasn't because she thinks Flux couldn't escape from this, but rather, she knew Flux had no reason to tell a fabricated explanation. Hence, what Flux is about to tell her is an honest and true explanation regarding his absence and strange behavior from the day before the ritual until now.
That being said, 20 minutes had passed and none of them took the initiative to speak.
After eating a bowl of food, Flux once again ordered, but this time a different kind of dish.
He'd wisely selected the most expensive and delicious-looking food on the menu.
Fleya couldn't do anything as she stared at his son.
Another 20 minutes had passed and by this time, Flux was able to finish his ordered food.
Anyhow, the current Flux had nothing left to do, he could feel the inside of his tummy mixed with all the various food he ate just a few minutes ago.
A little bit of time of silence went away, and in the next few seconds, Flux began to speak.
"I will answer all the varied questions running through your mind."
The atmosphere in the surrounding area started to change into a crucial point as he said those words.
And at this very moment, Fley knew that she had to listen carefully to his words.
"First of all, I won't come back to the mansion"
Fleya's eyebrows raised slightly. "What do you mean by that?"
"What you heard is right. I won't come back to the Arcadia family again. But that had nothing to do with what you think."
Fleya wanted to raise her voice prompting Flux that she opposed his decision and would do anything under her power to stop that. You could see her anger under that unfazed expression. however, on the contrary, before she could even raise a voice, Flux put her to a halt by placing a huge boulder in that flowing river.
"Explain yourself," Fleya said after coming back to her composed self.
Her Corresponding response indicates that Flux very well knew what she thinks, and by adding salt to the last sentences, Flux at this very moment knew that everything is just getting started.
Fleya added. "If what you said is true that this had got nothing to do with what I think, explain the full details."
"I do that then." Flux answered, Then continued. "It's exactly as what you heard. Everything had got nothing to do with it. You probably think that the mistress and that guy forced and gave me a huge amount of money or something similar to what I said. But, that's not the reason why I'm leaving.
Currently, now that I received my system, I think it's time for me to leave this place and become an adventurer leveling alone."
Hearing his explanation, Fleya sighed.
"Do you even know what you're saying?"
"Of course, I do. And I'm confident that I can live alone even at this age."
"..."
Her silence made Flux Into halt for a moment, but that also made Flux realize that everything about this matter had been settled. All he needed to do is to change the topic while waiting for her response.
Without beating around the bush, Flux shifted the topic and told the other information she have to hear.
"As for my class..."
Fleya's attention immediately came back upon hearing that seemingly craving for the answer.
Flux too did not make it longer. He knew it was not something special, no, rather, the most useless class.
"It's weapon master, a 1-star class."
Fleya's expression sank. Not that she was disappointed but she knew this class is trash among the trash.
There are various reasons why this class is trash. Firstly, among the 1-star classes, this class is the only one with no free skills provided to the holder. As of now, all classes that have been recorded in history have 4 different kinds of skills given to the holder except for one class and that is weapon master. However, the skills provided to the holder are still limited, for example, the 1-star classes can only provide one free skill to the system holder, and the 2-5 stars classes can give 4 different kinds of skills based on their classes. As such, even though 1-star classes can only provide 1 skill, it's still considerable compared to the class like weapon master with no skill to provide.
This is highly likely that Flux had to rely on his effort to create skills. Albeit, the holders were given free skills, every holder is free to create their own skills through practicing and training.
Secondly, close combat-type classes can wield any type of weapon just like what a weapon master can do. The only difference is that the weapon master is able to wield every weapon to a certain degree which is the only advantage you can get Unlike others, they'd had to practice the weapon they selected in order to get used to it.
And lastly, leveling up will be much harder compared to other classes and the reason corresponds to the first and second reasons.
"Sighed- Of all things why that class?"
Fleya's expression deteriorated after hearing about his class. She knew how hard it is to be the holder of a trash class. some people in the past were reported to have committed suicide for having this class, and the same might happen to his son.
as such, she had to be careful about making her decision...
At this time, Flux urged himself to speak before things could go wrong as he feel something changing in the atmosphere.
"So I plan to become an adventurer and level up alone. No other reasons whatsoever just that." Flux hastily said these words.
"with that class? Do you think you can live alone? Let alone killing a single monster I don't think you can do that." After putting in some words, she then continued. "You must have forgotten that you've never even wielded any sword before nor train... But surprisingly, the class you received was weapon master, ironic isn't it? Or... Perhaps I'm just imagining things without seeing them in the shadow."
Flux dared not to talk or reply about the actual meaning behind those words, instead, he stayed silent.
But even after putting something into consideration, the outcome still did not change.
'Better not talking about it, the more I say something the more it likely gonna get exposed' thought Flux.
Fleya stared at her son seemingly trying to guess his thoughts. However, the outcome did not help that much. This left her with no choice but to ask him his plan before finalizing her thoughts.
"How do you plan on living if I decided to let you go now? Have you not forgotten that in this world, not only monsters are your enemies? A frog in the well who has yet to gain even a bit of understanding of how this world works will never survive on the battlefield"
Fleya pressed on, but it seems like Flux had already thought about this beforehand.
"Of course, I'm already fully aware of this matter before I decided to make this decision. For that reason, I might not have come here to say this and come back to that house"
"Seems like you had already put everything into consideration before telling this"
Flux did not reply, instead, he nodded slightly as a response.
"Sighed- anyhow, you need a considerable amount of money before going somewhere," Fleya said this as though she had agreed with it.
"You mean..."
"Do not be so excited, there are still a lot of things you had to agree with me, if you do, I might approve your decision"
"And what is that?"
"First of all, you have to agree with my rules. The rules are simple and all you have to do is to follow these rules"
As she said these words, Flux nodded as though he had understood what she mean.
She then began to speak again regarding the rules. After quite some time of listening to her, Flux nodded in agreement. Albeit some rules had made Flux want to disagree, he had to agree with them anyway in order to leave this place and fight with monsters as soon as possible.
~Rule-1. Flux must come back to the mansion directly when an order was given.
~Rule-2. Flux is not allowed to go to the said location.
during the explanation, some places were regarded as restricted areas. the reason was surprisingly sufficient to make Flux have an understanding of these places. As such, he had no reason to think differently.
~Rule-3. every week Flux had to deliver a message to her regarding all he encountered so far during his adventure.
~Rule-4. Flux is allowed to tell what he needs.
The rule number 4 was surprisingly an advantage for Flux. Hence, he had no reason to disagree with it either.
All these rules were meant to ensure his protection, but... No one can tell when he is going to disobey them. That was because Flux sees all these rules as a hindrance and with these rules entrenched in him, leveling up might quite become stagnant than what he'd anticipated.
The conversation ended after talking about some trivial stuff.
And at this time, Flux made his bow slightly as to hint to her that he was leaving.
Fleya on the other did not postpone him. She knew that it was about time for him to leave this place.
With nothing left to say anymore, she nodded and that spurred Flux to leave hastily.
Seeing the back of his son as his presence gradually became dull, Fleya sighed with a tenebrous expression.
"He's just like me when I was a kid"
These words were not meant to be a joke, meaning to say that she herself had done some considerable amount of things in the past.
In the next few seconds, a waiter came next to her.
"Ma'am, this is the bill for the foods" said the waiter as she handed her a paper.
Fleya then took it and saw the total amount of food eaten by his son.
"That kid... I should've whipped him first." cursed Fleya.
