"Uh...it's a thing that takes you from one floor to another. Like when we came from downstairs, this thing takes us up the building," he explained to Sarah's amusement. It was unbelievable that the room would take them up.
"What floor are you headed to though?" He asked her. Sarah shook her head again and wrapped her arms round her body, not knowing what he meant. She saw the virtual arrow moving up the screen on the wall also, having no idea what it was either.
Before he could throw another question at her, the doors slid open and the man walked quickly out, leaving Sarah. Another set of people were already standing in front of the elevator to get in. Sarah walked out if the elevator, noticing that the scenery had indeed changed. Looking around, she was convinced that humans had become more mettlesome and cerebral.
