Although, Xana had had fading memories of her time at home and her room, she could still feel the sense of belonging an attachment to it when she opened the doors. Her toys and play things were kept nearly away and a few things had been replaced in her room, but she loved it still. Home sweet home.
"I'm back baby!" She twittered and bounced on her bed, scaring off the little birds that had had perched on the window panes.
A rattling knock sounded on her door.
"Come in!"
A woman in her mid thirties walked into the room and bowed curtly. Her hair was tied up in a near bun and a white apron hung down her neck. It was obvious that she was the cook...or one of the cooks.
Xana smiled so widely at her that her eye closed into a thin line. Leah couldn't help but smile at her young boss.
"Madam has sent for you. She's waiting at the dining to eat breakfast, ma'am," Leah announced.
"Oh cool! I'll be there shortly" Xana winked.
