Chapter 31 - His memories

It felt endless she passed out after a repetition of the feeling that had her head feeling an intense tension that had her rolling her eyes helplessly.

Alessia sighed as she moved from the embrace of the king sleeping beside her on her bed.

She smiled shyly when she remembered the beast-like energy he used to mash her relentlessly.

She traced his lips taking in the peacefulness of his appearance as he slept oblivious to the world around her including her.

She wondered why he had changed so much and what could have led to the change. When she met him in the woods, she wondered why he had not recognized her when she asked to speak with him.

She later concluded that he was pretending to be ignorant when he ran away from her in the woods. He has always liked her body even in the past but that was a long time ago.

So long ago looking at him now she could not see that innocent prince aye played with as the growing daughter of a noble wizard.

She even lied to him about her brother's death and he pretended not to know when he should never forget her brother even if he forgets her along with every other being in this world.

She felt sorry for her kindhearted brother who died miserably. He caused it all. He was the reason she was unable to live with her family in the capital.

He was the reason her father forsook her and her twin brother and yet he seemed to have forgotten it all. He has forgotten the incident that changed the lives of three youths full of life, energy, and desires.

If only . . .

She was trying hard not to get swayed by his pretense. There was no way he would have lost his memory. She strongly believed that he did it intentionally and he invited her over to move to the capital with him.

She figured that he was serious about it either pretentiously or sincerely. That was a strong point to support the notion that he might have lost his memory but why was he so attracted to her even after meeting her as a stranger for the first time.

She sighed sadly. Was she pleased that he have forgotten? Perhaps it was time for her to return to the capital. If he seriously wanted her to go with him then she would not object, she had no reason to object.

She might not be able to regain that space that was hers on his side but she still wanted to be on his side.

He was always a passionate lover who wanted to make her feel good along with him but there was a slight change. She had not been with anyone since he left.

He is no longer pampered her as he did in the past. She snapped as she pulled back to reality which was painfully brutal as she had to remind herself that it will not be easy for her when she returns to the capital and she will have to remain hidden in the shadows.

Liam opened his mouth and bit her finger softly nibbling on it.

"Stopp!" she cried dramatically cute as she tried to pull her finger.

He opened his eyes and looked at her cutely pouted lips as she looked at the finger he bit. He hugged her down to the bed and kissed her lips fiercely intertwining their tongues as he felt intoxicated by the sweet sourness of her taste.

"You smell like me," he told her after kissing her neck and sniffing making her laugh. "Are you ready to travel with me?"

She smiled and nodded looking into his eyes searching for something she missed in those eyes. She was not pleased with what she saw but she was not displeased, after all, he saw her as an ally.

It was not complete trust but it still showed that she was someone he wanted to walk with on his journey to the capital. Was it all fake or real? She could only wonder silently but she did not let it escape her lips.

His brow furrowed slightly only for a few seconds when he noticed the curiosity as well as fear in her eyes. He hid it like his expression did not change at all.

He pulled down the blanket from the fair twin fullness of her bosom. "I wish I could just ride you rather than riding a horse," he groaned as he buried his face in her bosom.

"You can choose to do that," she encouraged when he kissed her cleavage. Her fingers stroked his dirty blonde hair gently and massaged his scalp.

"Really?" he drawled lazily as he was beginning to feel reluctant to return to the capital. He almost dreaded it as it may not be hard before they discover he was a 'monster' and the true prince.

He believed that with a few spells cast, they will know he was a fake as easy as checking your blood type in the hospital. The king as a father might recognize the difference.

If it was his father, it will not take half an hour of sitting together in the same room for his father to know that he was a fake, it will be even easier for his mother.

He was a gentle ideal son, brother, and friend in the past although he was just equally daring and aggressive.

Some of his friends were against it as they felt he was letting his family control his future but he believed otherwise as his mother sometimes complained about his stubbornness.

When he was out with his friends, he could do what he want while being careful not to get caught when doing anything bad. He was very intelligent but he was everything far from nerdy.

He had a high IQ that he would flip through his note a few minutes before the examination with his friends and hardly got anything below distinction in all his subjects.

That was one of the reasons his parents cut him some slacks when it came to studying. He was also loyal to his friends as he would not hesitate to take the risk of helping them out during examinations.

He once got caught and got an F in the course but he smiled over it as it was fun and he did not let his friends get implicated because they would do the same for him as they gave done in other instances.

She was an ally although he did not trust her he did not mind making sure she could get to the capital which he hoped will be more welcoming rather than letting a beautiful woman like her remain in the woods.
