Chapter 10 - My perfect sculpture

Ambrosia appeared in a room, desolated from the castle in the forest, which was dark with just a round big red crystal ball in the middle. She walked to the middle sluggishly and placed her two hands on the red ball. Her eyes went black and the outside world appeared on the ball.

Her eyes settled on the young man who had left her castle to go bring her a human sacrifice. She had perceived he haven't killed anyone before and wondered to what length he would go for his sister.

"Let's see how this ends," she muttered darkly.

Darren drove down the road, with his hand tightened on his steering, the blood on his face was wiped off already. The wicked witch had to send him on an impossible errand. A human sacrifice? What is she? The devil's wife?

He shook his head and took the next turn. If he had a way to kill her then he would have gladly done that cause she had to pay for what she did to his innocent sister who did nothing to deserve the pain she was put through.

She is a witch. Witches don't die so easily as they use spells that are powerful. If he uses a gun, she might turn it against him and he will end up killing himself instead. Most movies he watched about witches really said a lot about them. How terrifying they can be. How blood thirsty they can be. He never believed in those fantasies, but, he was being sent by one to get her what she wanted.

"Stupid witch." He cursed as he drove speedily, overtaking the cars in front of him. He took the next turn roughly and almost collided with a car coming towards his direction. He avoided it but instead took another turn to a quiet road and hit someone.

His head hit the steering causing a wound on his forehead but it didn't bother him as the thought of the person he hit dying, filled his mind. He rushed out of his car and went to the man lying on the floor but at the sight of the person, he gasped and move back.

The man on the floor had red eyes, and his teeth were looking so sharp and long like Ambrosia's. His hands were longer than a normal human hand and his feet were like that of a cow. He looked like he was dead but still living.

Darren ran back to his car and tried opening the door but it was locked. He tried and tried but it wasn't opening.

"Fu*k it," he yelled frustratedly, kicking his car tire. What a bad day, seeing some creatures he never thought he would in his life.

He shouted in anger and looked at the struggling creature on the floor. He wasn't human obviously, he was like a creature and those creatures aren't needed on earth as they will end lives. Maybe he would be a better meal for Ambrosia, Darren thought.

He relaxed as he thought of it. He could trade the hideous creature for his sister and they would leave the crazy world he discovered..

"That witch will have to eat him instead..... Damn this crazy world, we don't need creatures like you," he mumbled and hit the man with a log of wood by the roadside, sending him to the world of darkness. He placed the creature hand on his shoulder and tried raising him up but fell to the ground along with him.

"Is this how heavy you get when you eat humans?" Darren questioned and tried picking him up again. With much difficulty, he dragged the unconscious creature to his car which surprisingly opened.

"Damn this car," he cursed for the hundredth time that night and pushed the man to the car booth, tying his hands and feet together afterwards.

Letting out a sigh of relief, Darren smiled knowing that his sister would be going home with him just like he promised their mother. He drove off.

Back to the castle, Darren dropped the man at Ambrosia feet, breathing heavily as he placed his hand on his knees. Carrying the man to the castle was definitely a heavy work that requires more people. Surprisingly, when he got to the castle, she was waiting by the entrance with her hand behind her back.

"Do you creatures gets this heavy after feasting on humans?" he questioned breathlessly. "I have given you what you want, now give me my sister," he added.

The vampire queen said nothing as she stared at the man on the floor who was now awake and was breathing slowly. The human man kept asking for his sister, forcing her to look away from the creature on the floor and focus on him. The human had the nerve to catch the creature which he seems to be oblivious about.

She sighed lowly and looked back at the creature. "I told you human sacrifice, but you brought a deformed vampire instead." she said flatly.

"Vampire? you mean a real vampire like you?" he raised his hands up and dropped it down. The night has being a really long night with so many mysterious things he had seen and heard.

If a witch can exist then why wouldn't a vampires too? Witches coexist with vampires right?

"I brought you what you need the most. In most stories I read, most crazy past rejected research and movies I have seen, all mentioned how you need the vampires blood for your growth and power. I did a really big favor and deserve a bonus. But I am kind enough to just ask for my sister and nothing more."

The vampire queen smirked at him and in a blink of an eye, she was pinning him down holding his left hand above his head and the other moving across his cheeks, slowly. Darren was taken aback by the suddenly movement but smiled when he remembered how sudden the woman always act. The best way to win her at her own game is to be the game.

He smiled sexily at her and slowly moved his finger across her cheeks just as she did to him. Ambrosia raised a brow in a perfect manner as she looked at the grey orbs of the man who had the gut to touch her back the same way she did. No one do things to her that way or they lose their hands, but this man wasn't scared of her.

"You shouldn't look away when you have your dinner," he told her and touched her lips. "Your dinner is leaving."

She smirked, and in a speed of a lightning, her mouth was covered with blood with some dripping down her cloth, and she held the head of the vampire with her hand.

Darren eyes widened as he looked at the scene in front of him. The lifeless body of the vampire fell to the ground and slowly turned into dust, and was blown by the wind. It all happened like a flash that before he could blink, she was done with the vampire.

She looked at him and blood flowed down her eyes, making her face bloodied. The beautiful woman he had seen before was like a blood sucking monster. His body shook in fear as her eyes were still focused on him. She smiled slyly and licked the blood on her fingers.

"Your sister? I never promised to let her go, I only promised to keep her alive. Now, the two of you are going to remain here as you will be my perfect sculpture soon," she informed and disappeared.
