"I won't let you stay here Mason, that man is already dangerous enough as is, I don't know what I was thinking when I married him. Plus I'm saddened to have dragged sweet Nora into this." My mother said before shooting a glance over to whom she had already disowned as a lover.
"Activate protocol Mission Complete Scenario Two; Bombs Away!" My father shouted to no one in particular but he still received a ten second countdown on the same blue flashing screen.
He then tries to stand up and when he succeeds he summons a metal sword with what I can only describe as some sort of magic. "Even if I won't be there to see it happen, I already know that I've created something spectacular, a new method of power!" He says once the countdown reaches five, when I see my brother push us all out of the room, and close the door while turning to face my father.
'Mason, so this is the kind of brother that I had, one willing to do anything for the sake of his own family, I thank you brother.'
"RUNNN! SURVIVE!" We all hear Mason shout from behind the door.
BOOM!
A sound goes off once we're all far away from the door. "BROTHER!" Both past and I currently shout out. Then we all begin to cry in usion, while slowly walking away from the door where both Mason and my father had died.
"Don't worry everyone, we're all going to get through this, I'm sorry for all the trouble you've both have had to go through, but I'll make sure you both make it out alive." My mother said as she tried becoming our saving grace, however she was still hurting inside and out, because once she said those words tears began streaming down from her face.
Then a ripple appeared from above us in the roof from the explosion which caused pieces of the roof to begin falling down. Then my mother tried her best to save us by picking Grace up in one arm and placing me in the other, then she began running.
"I can't be called Grace if I can't even save some elementary school kids!" Grace my mother shouted as she ran down hall after hall and began taking turns at rapid speed.
Although, our happiness was short lived as another boom receded from below us, which my mother responded to almost instantly by throwing us as far as she could and out of the explosion. To which Past me and I currently scream,"NOOO!" As my mother said the words I love you both.
This showed just how much she cared about both me and Nora, it was almost like she was a part of the family already. Then I no longer felt anything physically. My mind was undergoing a huge amount of stress and emotional pain, to the point where even I could feel it reaching me from through the vision, or was I rather remembering it?
Then being the older one of of us, to which I assume, I was being led down another hallway by a crying child with a brave smile, who told me,"Let's go."
We continued to run hearing booms from now and again until I got tired, so Nora picked me up on her back and tried carrying me, and after a while of stumbling she finally got the hang of it. Then being the sweet child she is and while trying to conformat me she says,"like in movies."
Then she dropped me to the ground after a short while and once I got back on my feet a bit further away, another boom was heard and this time I heard Nora say. "I really liked you Marcel, sorry about our promise."
Then I saw her upper body fly away where the rest must have been burned away in the explosion, and after chasing her body down, I saw a sad smile on her face. After a while I cried and as an eight year old kid, I begged for forgiveness from almost every deity I knew. Then I realized that I had run away from the front door and lastly that If I wanted to be strong that I would need power and lots of it.
Then dropping down to the ground I was ready to join my family, almost happy even, a thought that not eight year old kid should ever have about joining the dead. Until a screen appeared before me but at the time I didn't know what it was, and had no fear of death, somewhat even welcoming it.
The message read…
{You have been shielded by System Creator!}
[Shield duration will last until all explosions have come to a complete stop.]
Then a metal cage covered my entire body, however it didn't hold as well as my father might have thought, it had invited some of the radiation from whatever bombs my father was using inside, thus my growth process or so I believe.
Then as I had those thoughts and saw the last system message I had one last thought before returning.
'All those deaths for nothing…
