Two days had passed like they were nothing, it continually snowed in Wyverdale and it was as if the weather kept on getting colder and colder, Wura was relaxed seeing as she had not heard from the Prince for a while now.
It meant that her prayers were answered and he was not returning anytime soon, which made her relieved.
Meanwhile Aunt Tessa was planning a welcome home party for Richard, she was earnestly waiting for his return, she had missed him, this had been the longest time that they had been apart since they got married.
"Hang that over there, and put that over here" said Tessa as she told the maids where to place the ribbons that she had bought.
"Aunt I think that you should slow down with your planning" said Wura as she laughed, the poor maids were scared of Tessa, she wanted everything perfect, this was far from her usual carefree self.
"Just look at them, you are scaring the living life out of them" said Wura as she laughed.
"Go now" she said as she whispered to the two maids who looked about the same age as her, they bowed and ran away, they were internally very grateful to Wura for saving them from Tessa, she was being a monster.
"Well everything has to be perfect for the return of my Richie" said Tessa as she did not even notice that the maids she was working with had disappeared.
"Aunt you say it as if he has been gone for an entire month" said Wura as she laughed, she picked up the ribbon that was on the floor.
"It feels like a month to me" said Tessa.
"Yes yes, I know Aunt" said Wura as she laughed.
"The baby is also happy that his father is coming home" said Tessa as she held her tummy.
"It has been moving all day, and especially kicking" said Tessa as she laughed.
"Hello baby" said Wura as she touched her little cousin.
"You have the most wonderful mother, the most caring father, a very loving Uncle, a strict, but also loving Aunt, and most of all a cousin who cannot wait any longer to meet you" said Wura as she smiled as if the baby could hear her.
"She is hearing you" said Tessa as she felt more kicking.
"She??" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Yes my baby is a she" said Tessa as she smiled.
"How are you so sure Aunt?" asked Wura as she laughed.
"I know it, I feel it in my bones, she is a girl, just like her mother" said Tessa.
"Well alright Aunt" said Wura as she laughed, her Aunt was a really funny person.
"My Lady" said a maid as she walked into the room.
"Mister Richard has returned" said the maid.
"Really??" asked Tessa as she looked like she could not believe it.
"Yes My Lady" said the maid as she bowed.
"Oh thank you thank you" said Tessa as she took off like a horse.
"Slow down Aunt, you forgot your coat" said Wura as she sighed and she grabbed her coat and Tessa's coat as she followed behind Tessa.
"Where is you Aunt going so quickly like that?" asked Lawrence as he saw Tessa pass by with a great speed.
"Uncle Richard has arrived" said Wura as she tried to catch her breath, she could not run as fast as a pregnant woman, it was really a shame to her.
"I see" said Lawrence.
"And she forget her coat Father" said Wura
"Tessa" said Lawrence as he sighed, his sister could never change.
"Let us go join her" said Lawrence as he took Tessa's coat from Wura and he started walking.
"Yes father" said Wura as she followed behind him.
Tessa was already outside, in the shivering cold, she did not realize that she was without her cold till she looked down at the pure white snow.
But she did not care, she could see him, her Richie, riding on his horse, almost home.
"Tessa, you cannot keep on forgetting your coat" said Lawrence as he sighed and placed Tessa's coat on her.
"Thank you brother" said Tessa as she smiled.
"Do not thank you brother me" said Lawrence.
"If your husband finds out he will never let me live it down, he would accuse me of being an irresponsible brother for the rest of my life" said Lawrence.
"Oh you exaggerate brother, Richie would never" said Tessa.
"Oh Richie, Richie!!" said Tessa as she ran towards Richard as he came closer to the house.
Richard got off his horse and he sighed, she was going to trip and fall and he knew it.
"Slow down Wildvine" he said as he held his horse by it's reigns.
"Richie, Richie" said Tessa as she did not seem to hear him at all and she kept on running until she reached him and engulfed him in a big hug.
"Welcome home Richie" she said with a bright smile as she hugged him.
"I missed you too Wildvine" said Richard as he hugged her back.
"Oh Richie, I have so much to tell you" said Tessa as they walked together.
"Welcome back Uncle" said Wura as she smiled.
"Mmmm" said Richard.
"Lawrence" said Richard.
"Richard" said Lawrence as he nodded and went on his way back inside the house.
"I cooked Richie" said Tessa.
"You did??" asked Richard as for once he showed an emotion of surprise on his face, he looked straight at Wura.
Wura shook her head and she had a dreadful expression on her face.
"Yes I did Richie, it was not good, but at least I tried" said Tessa.
"Okay Wildvine" said Richard as he smiled.
"So how was your trip?" asked Tessa.
"Good" said Richard.
"Did you get the important thing that you wanted?" asked Tessa as she hugged him at his side, she was not going to let him go.
"I did" he said as they walked inside together, with Wura following behind them.
