A muffle sound echoed deep within the storage room of the newly created Long-Fall Pass Trading center. A middle-aged man with a deep scar from his mouth right to his ear with an intimidating expression sat on the ground.
Beside him were two men lying on the ground, wriggling in pain with blood gushing out from their legs and chest. The ghastly injuries on their body needed immediate attention if they wanted to live to see the next day.
And lastly, was a man in black robe tied, sitting on the ground with veins protruding from his forehead but his face devoid of any expression. A stream of blood gushed out from the deep injury from his back.
Yet, under this tremendous pain, the man didn't flinch a bit. His dark eye stared blankly at the darkness within the storage room, leaving only muffle sound and groaning from the people around him.
Creak!
The door opened and a dim light illuminated the store room. A young man in a blue robe walked unhurriedly into the store room.
His eyes lingered on the people inside the room for a couple of seconds, before it fell on the sack.
Al Casendra's eyes roamed the store room without any expression on face. Shortly, a couple of other people entered the room.
Kako and his men brought a big board while three other people stood at the corner of the store room in nervousness.
"When did they kill all the assassins?" Raymond whispered.
"I don't know" Donald responded with his eyes fixed on the young man at the center of the room.
"Why did the prince ask us to come here?" Meyla asked with a slight nervousness.
"I don't know." Donald was getting tired with the series of questions.
"All set," Kako announced.
Beside the board was a small table with various deadly items on it. Seeing the array of items placed on the table.
The three merchants swallow the lumps in their throat and all their sleepiness disappeared into thin air.
Al Casendra waves to Kako. And immediately, he understood what he meant. Kako quickly removes the rags on the two able hostages.
The man with a deep scar inhaled deeply and his bloodshot eyes glared at Kako before it fell on Al Casendra.
"Whatever you're planning to do? I hope you have the audacity to bear the consequences when those people arrive." He said with a complacent smile.
While the leader of the assassin didn't utter a word. His eyes were without focus. Nonetheless, Al Casendra didn't care about how these two respond or do.
What happened previously had awakened a beast buried deep within his soul. He knew this world was cruel, but he wanted to focus on developing his city and his research.
But it seems what happened in his previous life would continue here. Then…
He took his writer and wrote on the board.
[Who sent you?]
(AN: As from this chapter, I would be using [] to denote Al Casendra dialogue for the time being until he regains his voice.)
The two raised their heads once and didn't bother to talk. Meanwhile, the leader of the Viper gang had a sly grin on his face.
Kako and the others waited patiently, waiting to see how Al Casendra would handle those two.
[You would talk. But the question is how long would it take you to talk. And what is the consequence of wasting my time.] He added casually.
The room was in total silence and all eyes were fixed on the 14 years old boy. Al Casendra didn't care about the gaze directed at him.
He approached the small table and his right moves slowly on the cold iron tools placed on the small table.
[Do you know the human body behaves funny when under duress. While the brain sends various pulses to stimulate the body when it encounters foreign objects in the body.]
Everyone read the rows of words in a pensive gaze. Al Casendra picked a long sharp needle from the pile of items and shook it gently.
[Every human heart is located on the left side. But have you ever wondered what would happen if the human heart was punctured right from the top of the small space from the shoulder… Don't worry let me skip the class and let me show you.]
He approached the viper gang leader with a smile that was no smile. Yet, the boss was unnerved. He looked at Al Casendra with disdain. Suddenly, Al Casendra changed his direction and moved toward the assassin's leader.
He pointed to Kako and he quickly rushed toward Al Casendra. He removed the cloth of the man and carried the assassin's leader and tied him to a chair.
Seeing this, Al Casendra nodded and moved to the left side of the assassin leader and dug in the 15 inches needle from the left shoulder downward slowly.
Everyone in the room stared at the young man in various emotions flicking through their faces. Unknown to them, they've all held their breath.
At first, the man didn't have any change in his expression. But Al Casendra wasn't in any hurry. He continued to push in the needle slowly.
Ah!
The man grimaced and his uncaring attitude changed immediately. Unknown to him, this was just the beginning.
Al Casendra pushed it deeper and entered directly into the upper chamber of his heart region.
Ah! Ah!
The man wriggled in pain, veins protruding from his forehead and his eyes turned bloodshot.
He shook vehemently on the chair. Deep fear appeared on his face. The pain he was currently feeling was beyond his capability.
Al Casendra nodded and gave a rare smile. Seeing this, Kako took a couple of steps backward in trepidation. 'Heavens. I don't want to see his highness smile again.'
The man continues to grimace in agony. This pain was just too much. In a couple of seconds, he was already covered in cold sweats. Yet, Al Casendra seems not to be satisfied.
He pointed to a small jar of wine at the corner of the room. Kako picked the wine jar and gave it to him with a trembling hand. Kako couldn't fathom what the assassin was currently feeling. But with his expression. He knew… It was hell.
Receiving the wine, Al Casendra uncorked it and took a swig. He pointed to Kako to open the mouth of the man. Everyone held their breath and watched the next insane act.
Al Casendra poured half of the wine jar into the assassin's mouth and slapped his throat.
The man gagged, swallowing all the wine in one motion. Seeing this, Al Casendra reached out his hand and held the long needle sticking out of shoulder and twisted it before pushing it down.
Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!
"P-P-P-P-lease…P-P-P-Please… P-P-P-Please…"
"I-I-I— will… talk"
