A young boy of about 14 years was running hastily with a white beast beside him. A drip of red liquid escape from the corner of his mouth. His chest moving up and down, veins protruding from his forehead. While his hand trembled continuously.
'I should have escape from it, right' He communicated to the beast beside him.
The beast raised its head and looked at the young man beside her and growled. Seeing this, the young man frown. 'Don't tell me that goddamn beast is still chasing us.'
The beast gnashed its teeth and sprint forward, not waiting for the boy.
'This can't be right.' The young man sprinted after the beast, cutting the long branches in front of him with his sword. On his back was the inscription gun.
Hiss!
The loud hissing sound reverberated throughout the forest. No one know where the hissing sound was coming from. Yet, the young man hairs stood straight and goosebumps all over his body. A drop of sweats dripped from his forehead and his hand trembled.
'This is insane. Why is this stupid snake chasing after me.' He cried in his mind.
He and his beast and been hunting in the forest for over 3 hours. Rank 1 monster beast pose no threat to them anymore. So they decided to ventured deep into the forest. Unknown to him, he entered the lair of a rank 3 beast.
Two big green eyes emerges behind from a giant tree and looked at the small boy running. Its thick skin blended with the forest like a chameleon. Hydra Green Snake. A rank 3 beast. No one below elite mage could face the beast.
Even an elite mage would run in the presence of a peak rank 3 beast. Its fangs shoot out with a green bubble. Anything the burble touch withered and dry immediately.
Suddenly, the white beast stopped abruptly. It looked at a particular direction and all the white fur on its body stood straight. It growled and its deep blue shines like a diamond.
'What!' The boy came to a stop and chest goes up and down. His eyes dart left and right, looking for any anomaly.
Whoosh!
A strong gush of wind assault the boy's face and all the hair flaunted backward with his eyes widened. At that moment, his brain ceased to function and everything go into slow motion.
A long green tail swept toward him at an unprecedented speed. 'Am I going to die here.'
That was the only thing that came to his mind. However, when the long, enormous tail was a couple of feet from it body. A strong ice attack came out of nowhere and hit the tail.
Yet, the tail didn't stop in its trajectory. But its enormous force had reduced.
Bang!
Ah!
Growl!
Both the young man and the beast were sent flying. The boy passed through many grasses before he was stopped by a gigantic tree. He puked out blood and his face pallid. The light armor on his body was turned into pieces.
He groaned, blood flowing out from his mouth and nose. A couple of his ribs had been broken. Beside him, his beast wasn't any better. Bloods flow out from its body.
Hiss!
The hydra green snake slithered slowly toward it prey. Its long fang move back and forth while it green eyes looked at the boy and the beast in disdain.
The white beast noticed the incoming threat and force its self to stand up and growl loudly. His blue eyes shinning and layer of frost sip out of its body.
Groaned!
The young man groaned again and raised his head, staring at the green snake without any fear. The snake didn't rush to kill its prey. It coiled it long body like a small mountain and looked at it prey proudly.
The hydra green snake opened it mouth wide, preparing to swallow it prey in one gulp. The white beast growl and took a couple o step backward. There is no way a peak rank 1 beast was going to fight a peak rank 3 beast.
Fear gripped the beast. The young boy and beast looked at each other for a moment. But that moment, the young man eyes blinked.
'How did I forget my gun'
The big mouth of the snake was already descending rapidly. Quickly, the young man groaned and took out the inscription gun. The snake mouth was already over their head when he raised the gun.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Hiss!
The hydra snake cried in agony. It retreated its enormous quickly while blood was gushing like an open dam in front him. The snake shook vehemently, destroying every tress in the surrounding with it enormous body.
'I got you.'
Bang! Ban! Bang!
The continuous sound of bullets rang throughout the forest, accompany by the loud cry of the beast, forming a perfect melody to the boy's ear.
The thick skin of the snake body was riddle with holes, blooding gushing out. The snake didn't understand what just happened. But first, it wants nothing to escape from it current predicament.
'Thinking of running. In your dream.' The young man thought and shoot like a mad man continuously. His blue eyes glowed.
The hydra snake could barely move a couple of meters before it fell on the ground, creating an enormous shock waves. It wriggled continually on the ground for a couple of seconds before it finally stop.
Seeing this, the boy breathe a sigh of relief and his hand slumped. His injury was severe. If not for the slight delay in the snake attack. He would have died from the attack.
The young man rest his head and took a deep breath. He fished out an elixir from the bag, hanging beside his waist, and swallow before he closed his eyes.
The white beast looked at the young man for a second before it walk toward the dead snake. It jumped on the snake and use it paw to cut the snake skin. It took the white beast a couple of minutes before it cut the snake skin.
The white beast fished out the snake core. Staring at the glowing core in its hand, the white beast eyes brightened. It took the core and rushed toward the sleeping young man.
It sat in front of the boy and stared at it for a moment before it swallow the core. The beast closed it and lay directly in front of the boy.
After an unknown time, the young man's eyes twitched. The young man which was obviously Al Casendra opened his eyes slowly and looked at the surrounding. He groaned. Suddenly, his eyes caught sight of an enormous white beast in front of him, and his eyes widened.
'What the hell!?'
