Chapter 47 - The Weeping Tiger

"What!"

It astounded the boss. He looked at the middle-aged man, not sure if the man was alright. All the bandit stared at the man with various expression on their faces.

Hahaha.

The boss burst into a hysterical laugh, showing his conniving teeth. Not to be outdone by the others, the bandit joined their boss and laugh.

Meanwhile, the five men looked at the laughing bandit without any expression on their faces. After what seem like forever, the bandit stop their hysterical laugh and looked at the man in disdain.

"Are you that scared that you turn into a sissy." Bosho smirked, rubbing his crook nose. 'Gush! This is painful.'

Kako gaze at the twenty-something men and shook his head. "I thought you're more than this." He sighed dejectedly.

What!

This time, it was not only the bandit that was flabbergasted. The three merchant looked astounded. Their eyes bulged, trying to fall off from their socket.

The boss scrutinized Kako expression for a moment before he said seriously.

"I don't know where your confidence is coming from. But I will let you taste the venom of our group. Many powerful are threatened when they heard our infamous name. The Weeping Tiger."

Creak!

The door of one of the carriage opened and a young man step out. His long, overflowing robe swept the ground after him. His deep blue eyes and long hair blend together with the long robe, creating an otherworldly presence.

The expression of everyone changed when they saw the young man. The bandits eyes were shinny with greediness, while the merchant and guards eyes filled with reverence.

Al Casendra stop beside Kako and looked at the bandit without any expression on his face. He averted his gaze and gave Kako a scroll and turned to leave.

Receiving the scroll, Kako immediately unfold the scroll and read the content. A proud smile appeared on his face. 'As expected of his highness.' He raised his head and looked the bandit with pity.

"Wait!" The boss shouted, moving toward the caravan.

A steam of red flames began to appeared on his palm and his eyes turning red. At once, the relaxed bandit withdrew their weapon and began to cast a spell.

The three merchant was scared silly in the presence of the overbearing pressure coming from the bandit. They looked at each other and swallow the lumps in their throat.

"What are we going to do?" Raymond whispered in panic.

"You just watch and see" Donald said confidently.

"How can you say that. These bandits are merciless. We need to escape from here." Meyla said nervously. She could barely maintain her grip on the horse.

"Have you ever seen his highness do something he was never confident about?" Donald said confidently and raised his chin.

The two shook their head.

"Then why are you scared of the measly bandit." He proudly said.

"Attention!" Kako shouted.

The four men behind him jumped down from their horses and stood straight. They withdrew the weapon from their back.

"Get in position."

Kako and his men formed a straight, and they bend their kneel slightly with their weapon held with both hands. The Rapid Fire bow was perpendicular to their shoulder height while they lower their head slightly for the aim.

Every was done on the fly and in perfect syncs. The bandit looked at the five without stopping from their attack.

"You think this measly weapon could go against magic." The boss shouted with the flame burning fiercely in his hand.

"Fire blast."

"Attack!"

Swiss!

The five men rolled on the ground, avoiding the fire blast by an inch. They raised their weapon and released the dangerous grade three darts.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The boss was preparing to send another attack when he was hit by something. He groaned and looked at his chest. The burning fire in his hand die immediately.

He opened his mouth to talk, but only for blood to escape from his mouth. His men didn't understand what was going on when various dart entered their body.

Ah! Ah! Ah!

Various miserable cries echoed on the quiet road. The bandit realized that those weapons were not ordinary weapon. But it was too late for regret.

'Where the hell did that strange weapon comes from— if I could get my hand on those…'

That was the last thought of the bandit boss before his consciousness drift into an eternal sleep.

Basho wriggled on the ground with numerous hole on his body with blood gushing like a broken pipe. He was deader than dead.

"At ease." Kako shouted. He stood up from the ground and approached the miserable cries whilst his men follow him in alert.

After a couple of minutes, Kako and his men check the fight scene without leaving no stone unturned.

"Report!" A young man salute. "Seven dead and three critical injured, while the others would live."

"Why are they so weak. We didn't even target their vita spot." Kako complained. He shook his head, left the midst of blood.

"Leave the message for the eagle squad. Let move."

The young man nodded and changed his Rapid fire cartridge and fire a shot into the air, leaving a whistling sound.

The three merchant and the guards looked at the five in dismay. This was beyond their imagination. A beginner mage and over twenty novice mages were taken down in a blink of an eye.

'Heaven!'

The three looked at each other faces and saw the shock. They exhaled and looked at the ordinary carriage at the center of the caravan. The vestige of Al Casendra rose another bar in their heart.

"Let move!" Kako shouted, jumping on his horse. 'Gush, I miss my wolf.'

They continued their journey in silence while the previous scene played in the heart of the three merchant and the guards. However, the five soldiers and Al Casendra had long forgotten about the little fight.

'If not for highness. We would have long killed them. I guess they would make a nice slave in the city.' Kako grinned.

On the fight scene, two giant eagles landed with two young people jumping down from their back.

"Those barbarian are just too much." A petty female voice complained. The light armor on her body displayed her gorgeous thin waist and her two large cherry.

"Stop with your nonsense. We need to let the city know of these people."

"What about those critical injured."

"Kill them."

After a couple of hours of traveling, a long caravan arrive at a big city with a giant wall. Numerous people ventured in out of the city gate.
