Felix was in a dilemma on what category best suits his fighting style. Thundra said that Light is for head on attacks while Dark is for assassin type attacks and Neutral is a mix of the both of them.
Theoretically I should pick Neutral, but I think it'll only bring too much trouble. During the civil war I'll have to deal on attacks from the enemies on both sides which will hinder my growth. I can't do that.
Light would've been great, but I don't centre on head on attacks. We telepaths must centre on long ranged attacks so Light category is out of the question leaving me with...
"I want to join the Dark Category." Felix said seriously as stared at Thundra who broke into a slight laugh. Tilting his head to the side, Felix added, "What?"
"I'm also in the Dark category so I can help you much better since I have a bit of experience on the process. Okay, hold my hands." Thundra said as she held out her hands with a smile, "You still have my Imprint right?"
"Yeah, what should I do?" Felix said as he took Thundra's hands and held it. He had frown on his face as he subconsciously closed his eyes.
"Simple, just focus your will on the imprint... don't lose your concentration. It's a relatively simple, but painful process." Thundra spoke as her grip on Felix's hands tightened.
What the!
Suddenly, Felix beg to feel a searing sensation in his palm making him grit his teeth in pain. After two minutes of torture the pain slowly subsided and he opened his eyes to meet a blue screen glaring at him.
[–Evolution Process Begun!–]
Felix let go of Thundra's hands and stared at the blue screen with a frown on his face.
[–Select Category–]
[Light] [Dark] [Neutral]
Without needing to think any more, Felix slowly tapped on the –Dark– button and frowned with his eyes narrowed, patiently waiting for the next screen to pop up before him.
[–Select Evolution Path–]
[Human] [Elven] [Demi-god] [Imp] >
Seeing the various options for an evolution path, Felix gave Thundra a stare.
Imps? Really?
Felix shook his head, ignoring Thundra's confused expression. He wasn't going to evolve into a different species... how would he blend into society looking like a hob-goblin?
Felix unhesitatingly selected the human option. If only he wasn't living in the apocalypse...
[Digital Human] [Hybrid Human] [Super Gene Human] [Mutated Human] >
Hmm, this is going to be a very difficult choice...
I'm already a mutated human so that's normally out of the equation. Hybrid human? Bah, what will I be... a half cow? Out of the equation.
Super Gene Human... and Digital Human... these are they really important ones. As a Super Gene mutant, my telepathic ability ratings would be off the charts! I could own immense control over my abilities!
A Digital Human is like a robot with all the traits a human including emotions. Digital Humans have higher intelligence and higher strength compared to the regular human. A very powerful Digital Human could suppress and release their emotions at will, having the power to be a full human or full robot.
Being a Digital Human would greatly enhance the abilities of a Telepath, the ability to erase emotions would greatly enhance my abilities in a fight...
So...
Super Gene... Or Digitalized Human?

Outside the game, In the distance space light years away from the milky way galaxy...
In space, countless ships were seen firing lazers at one another, dozens of explosions continued in space as screams and shouts followed.
On the top of some ships was depicted half a black skull with the hilt and edge of a sword adjacent to each other on the other side. This was the insignia of the Space Pirates.
The other ships had the depiction of a gold shield with a blue flower at the middle. These were the interstellar ships belonging to the Space Exploration Fleet 1.
Above the battlefield was a large red dragon-like creature spewing fire on the pirates' spaceships, and circling around the battlefield.
"Captain what is that thing? A space mutant?" A young blue haired man wearing a futuristic full body armour spoke to the man besides him, his superior.
Besides him was Captain Drake, the leader of the first human fleet of interstellar warships.
They were going on a quick round trip to New Mars when their ship was suddenly ambushed by a group of intergalactic pirates. During the battle, the massive dragon-like creature was spotted in the distant space.
It had attacked the pirates, helping the Exploration Fleet to gain an upper hand in the battle.
"That's no f*cking space mutant... it looks like a dragon! A mythical dragon from ancient times!" The captain spoke with shock written all over his face. He wasn't trying to say that these Ancient Myths were still alive, but what the f*cking hell is he seeing now?
"Captain you're over thinking things. dragons have been extinct for eons now, how can you say that thing is a dragon?" The young man in futuristic armour retorted quickly. He was a Space Soldier from Earth, he doesn't believe in all these ancient myths like dragons and demons!
They're not real! Are they?
While the young man was thinking, his captain suddenly froze after seeing someone riding the massive red dragon.
The person had long sharp ears, a fair and spotless face, red hair and eyes... oh my god, is that an elf! What the freaking hell is going on here?!
"Everyone on IS-fleet1, you are all ordered to immediately pull out of the current battle at once and head back with your pods into the mothership. We're searching the area for a new planet." The captain spoke into his Space Telecom, his voice transmitting into all ships and suits around him.
Hearing his captain, the young blue haired soldier was shocked. Was his captain trying to say that there's a planet nearby?
If that's true then... f**k me.

Felix had a frown on his face as he contemplated. After about ten minutes of thinking he decisively went for Digitalized Human.
His reasons were simple. As a Super Gene, only his genetic code would improve on the inside. His physical properties would not be greatly altered, making him a true glass tank.
As a Digital Human, not only would his powers grow but his physical properties would be affected in a useful way. He could have higher physical strength and greater mental power!
What would a telepath with supernatural strength be called... Diamond Tank! Who wants to be a glass tank when you can be a diamond one?
'Digital Human...'

'Huh? That's strange. Let me see what it means... There's no harm in trying... right?'
[Evolution Process Begun!]
Felix smiled, finally. Just as he was about to break the news to Thundra, he suddenly felt a little rip in his heart followed by an overwhelming pain.

Felix's eyes turned white as he gritted his teeth with all his might. Blue veins spread out on his forehead like webs, making him clench his pale fists tighter.
