Bang!
The corpse of the mutated beast crashed into the ground, as drops of beast blood splashed onto the ground, this immediately made Ryver frown deeply.
His room floor was now dyed red with blood, it would be complicated to wash off since he doesn't have his equipment with him and as ample as he liked the smell of blood and guts, he prefer not having them in the room which he slept at.
Ryver then swerved towards the beast that was almost half the size of a grown man, he yanked the neck of the beast which weigh a bit over 20kg and carried it towards the now broken glass wall.
The wind howled and screamed at his face and his hair fluttered rapidly from the high altitude. He stared below at the darkened city. There was a few glimpse of light but they were from the pool of blood and guts that littered the street. It seems radiation mixed with blood seem to give it a luminous effect.
Ryver observed this for a while before hurling the body off his room down to the city below. There was silence for several seconds as gravity pulled the creature to the land before a faint crashing sound resounded from the ground below.
"500 feet." Ryver mumbled, his vision still staring down at the city unafraid that he might slip and fall off the building by mistake. If there was something Ryver was apprehensive of, it sure wasn't heights.
Unexpectedly Ryver's eyes flashed and he stared ahead of him, and what he saw made his pupils constrict to a pinpoint. Without reticence, Ryver holstered his firearm and held his two blades tightly in both hands.
His eyes latched onto a target or a series of targets outside the building and a string of information popped up.

[Ordinary Mutated Giant Pigeon]
[Sex: male] [Age: 2] | [Strength: 4] | [Agility: 7] | [Vitality: 3]...
But there wasn't just one ordinary Mutated Giant Pigeon rushing towards Megatech, but an entire flock is birds, containing a few hundreds of them!
This scene was even more chilling than a human getting bit by zombies. Ryver promptly backed up, giving himself space within the room and in that second, the flock of birds rammed into the glass walls of the rooms on that entire floor.
"SCREEEE!!!" "SCREEEE!!! "
Alarming sounds of humans and that of a beast reverberated within the entire floor of Megatech, directly slaughtering the silence within the street, the sounds chiming outwards for miles during this pitch black horrific night, luring zombies and other beasts alike.
Four of those beasts crashed into Ryver's room, clearing everything in their path including the bed, the wooden walls and the glass walls.
Ryver jumped upwards, using the chandelier as leverage, he avoided being collided into and watched as the birds skidded into his room with force.
Without pausing, he pivoted his body landed on the back of the first beast. Piercing through its skull wasn't that difficult and as the beast's body crashed into the wall and the door, Ryver had already leapt away from the beast and landed behind the next one. The technique was smooth as he jabbed his combat knife into its skull without it even realising what was occurring.
But during that period, the additional two Mutated Giant beasts finally realised what was happening, they shrieked loudly and directly nipped at Ryver's brain with their incredible pointed beak with sharp speed and velocity.
There was a whoosh as the wind was broken through with beaks heading in his direction.
Clang! Clang!!
The two Mutated Giant Pigeon fell backwards as Ryver punched their beaks forcefully. Although they were tough, Ryver was still at least twice as powerful as they are and before they could recoup, Ryver had stabbed his blades into the crowns of the two beasts, leaving them twitching on the ground with crimson blood and whitish brain fluid spilling on the floor.
Unexpectedly, two glowing sharp talons stabbed through the air and hooked deeply into his shoulder blades, leaving him tangled and incapable of moving while a sharp sword-like beak pecked at his head, rapidly sucking out more than half of his brain in the process.
With ten points in agility, Ryver barrelled forwards, evading the two claws and stretched his hands upwards as he snatched one of the Giant pigeon legs, his back seemed to shape like that of a coiled dragon as he whipped the beast sideways like a hammer.
BANG!
He slammed the beast heavily into the body of another Giant pigeon that had just flown into his room. Bloody meat and tissue splattered on his walls, decorating it as the other beast slammed into the valuable painting in the room destroying it while putting a huge dent on the wall.
But as he annihilated one, two more took its place. They kept rushing in as though they had gone rabid. But Ryver knew the radiation not only changed their bodily configuration and make them mutate but also changed their perception of taste and ambition.
Seeing as they were all heading for his head, he shortly predicted out they have the urge to taste brains which could possibly assist with their mutation.
As he killed the beasts rapidly, the screams he was hearing in the room not too far from his had died out, that person either escaped to the hallway or his or her head had been sucked by the flock of those flying monsters.
BOOM!
The hardened concrete demarcating his room from the next room by the left finally collapsed as Ryver slammed another beast right into the walls. It couldn't withstand the rapid bashing of the walls and it weakened and then collapsed to the ground with dirt everywhere to reveal the next room, only to uncover more than seven other Mutated Giant Pigeons within that room.
Now there were ten of these beasts in his room and the next and there were still more incoming in his direction like they wouldn't cease anytime shortly.
Ryver's breathing strangely began to reduce and every activity of the beasts within his space started to slow down as though someone had clicked the 0.5x button.
