Time passed and in roughly 20 minutes, he had stitched himself up, closing up all of his wounds.
Naturally, it would roughly take at least a month for an ordinary human to heal from such injury if it wasn't stitched up but if stitched up, it would approximately take about a week.
But Ryver's vitality point had reached an intense level. Vitality point of ten bestows him the Physique and vitality of ten men combined. Which signified his healing rate is ten times faster than that of a normal human.
He estimated his injuries would heal within 24 hours. Infact, he could feel his skin itching and twitching as his cells rapidly worked to replace the broken ones. His body had already started healing on its own, but it was quite disturbing. He was only worried his broken bones would take an even longer time.
Ryver tapped and held a spot below his ear, on his neck. "Call Yvonne."

He pursed his lips and gently limped to the door, locking it tightly. He then took a thin thread, tied it to the door and connected it to a glass cup, balancing the glass cup by its edge, he placed it on the glass table he had moved closer.
After making all of the necessary preparations, Ryver lay on top of the bed and his gloomy blue eye closed. His breathing slowed and his body temperature slowly reduced as he sank into a strange state of sleep. The pistol was placed at his feet, and his left arm was lightly laid atop of the combat knife.
In Ryver's opinion, the time he was awake was one world, and the time he spent asleep was a different world altogether, neither was meant for rest. This world of darkness would at times be peaceful, and at times one of clamoring and fragmented monstrosities. When awake, most of these fragments would fade from his memory.
In new environments, Ryver's sleep would normally be extremely light. This signified that he would be in a quiet and dreamless state of sleep that would enable him to react to any small changes which was extremely helpful to him during missions. This company was definitely a new environment, and as such, Ryver was relatively cautious when asleep.
Once again, today was not a night without dreams. Ryver once again sank into the dark, gory realm of dreams.
He was suddenly trusted into a grey world, and everything in his line of sight was a rippling grey figures. It was as if this entire world was immersed within a grey kind of firmament, clear but unclear. Through the rippling light, he could see countless faces, they seem to be working on something which was on a flat surface. Those faces belonged to humans but to Ryver they seem more like monsters to him. These faces appeared before him one after another, and their lips opened and closed, creating clashing sound waves. It was as if they were repeatedly saying something, but it wasn't to him, but at each other. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't understand a word.
He was like an unmoving doll, just lying flat on the bed, unable to move even the slightest. Whenever a face appeared over him, an intense hatred clouded Ryver's mind, but he was unable to do anything as his body was being poked, removed, tested and replaced.
Numbness, itchiness, and aching covered him seemingly endlessly, inflicting upon him a pain that made him want to tear his body apart!
These faces would mostly appear once, with only a select few emerging more than two times. There were only two that appeared more than twice. However, no matter which face it was, they were all blurry and unrecognizable. As a result, Ryver had no idea whether he had encountered any of those faces before.
The dreams repeated themselves, and when he woke up, they would fade from his memory. As a result, Ryver never really knew what he experienced within those dreams.
This time, his dream had not continued for its full duration when it was interrupted by an outside source.
A signal immediately triggered within the depths of Ryver's mind, and ten messages immediately spread throughout his body. As a result, his body suddenly rolled sideways as he shifted to the edge of his bed, his left hand gripping his combat blade and his other hand gripping at his pistol.
"SCREEEE!!!" "BANG!!!"
The glass wall to his room immediately exploded spewing out multiple beams of glass shards and metallic fragments as a creature half the size of a grown man crashed straight into his room from the outside!
Ryver only had a rough glimpse of the creature and a series of information popped up in his mind.
[Ordinary Mutated Giant Pigeon]
[Sex: male] [Age: 2] | [Strength: 2] | [Agility: 6] | [Vitality: 2]
The Mutated Giant Pigeon bashed straight into the wall, screeching loudly as it flapped its wings rapidly, scattering the items within the room with intense wind.
With the soft glow of the wall-mounted rechargeable lamp lighting up the room, Ryver was able to get a proper look at the beast. Its entire body was pitch black and its beak was as long and sharp as a sword. Just a single peck was more than enough to peck the head of a human.
Swiftly getting to his feet, not waiting for the beast to get up from its disoriented state, Ryver stomped hard to the ground, closing the distance between them as he arrived by the beast in the blink of an eye.
The wings of the Mutated Giant Pigeon were still flapping rapidly, tossing the items within the room and making a mess of the environment. The rapid movement of the wings prevented Ryver from going before it to kill it.
But its back was totally exposed to Ryver. Immediately, Ryver leapt at its exposed back, and before it could realise what was going on, he stabbed his blade into the tiny head of the beast.
