"Home," Dawn thought, "I want to be home.". The young boy let's out a sigh as he stared off into nothingness, the teacher's talking slowly tuning out. "When will this day end? I just want to lay in my bed, and sleep. Just sleep. Sleep the day away..". Dawn felt his eyelids do a slow tired blink, until looking off to the side. On his right, a kid with dark brown hair and a yellow t-shirt doodled on his paper. What did you expect? Most in the class were 5 years old. Even Dawn himself knew most weren't going to listen. Dawn blinked off to the left, seeing the two 'couple' of the school. When really it's just make belief. Nothing but fantasies. Dawn felt a wave of tiredness overcome him, listening to the teacher alone made him tired. "Maybe a few minutes.." Dawn muttered to himself, feeling his eyelids become heavy, enough for them to shut.
A sudden smack of a ruler on a hard surface made Dawn jolt, his eyes trailing from the ruler, to his teacher. Ms. Bleach. "What the hell do you think you're doing? Sleeping in my class. Pitiful!". "There she goes..ranting." Dawn thought as he stared into her green like eyes. He could hear nothing. Nothing. Just silence. "You're staying here for detention," was what made him snap back into reality. "Great, more time in this..school," said Dawn as he watched the old woman walk off. Dawn only laid his head back down, watching the rain tap on the windows. Tap. Tap. Tap. That's what he could only hear as he zoned out. Oh how he loved the rain and his imagination.
3:30 PM was the time. Dawn sitting in a desk whilst staring at a chalk board. "3:40 PM is the time you leave!" He heard Ms. Bleach's voice say in the back of his head. Dawn reached up and rubbed his tired filled eyes, glancing at the empty wooden desk after. "How come she gets to go home and I don't?" Dawn grumbled to himself in a groggily tone. "Cause she's a..bad word." A voice told Dawn, sounding like it came from behind. This made Dawn instantly look behind him, seeing the same weird boy as before. "Doodle boy.." Dawn couldn't help but chuckle at the thought, finding it funny. "She is, I just want to come home by now," Dawn said, leaning back into the chair. "How about we sneak out? Surely they won't know." The boy suggested, which Dawn nods at the idea. "We should..what's your name?" Asked Dawn as he turned back around, a goofy smile spreading across his face. "Aza! Aza Tar.".
