Chapter 56 - Chapter 56

Malik started at the figures closely without losing his posture. "All of you know I am the only one who can pass through it either way right?"

The tall man turned around, walked to stand in front of malik.

Even the god of angels with his huge wings looked so small in front of this man's build.

"Brother," he smiled evilly, his face darkened, his eyes shone brightly.

He put his hand on Malik's shoulder. He inclined his head and back yet still was taller than him.

"Why don't you open the door while we are still being nice."

Malik looked at the man's eyes intensely, then turned around to look at the others, who started smiling crazily too.

"I..." before he could utter any words A woman's aura roared. The universe shook and trembled. the planets, galaxies. realms all wavered.

Malik's eyes widened. It's been years since he saw any of them fight. he couldn't believe that the youngest reached such a stage, where he, was unable to gasp her strength.

sweat could be seen on his forehead as he realized the evil expression the others had on their faces.

The youngest suddenly spoke, "It seems you have been lazily hanging around all these years."

His mind ran wild as if he went into a trance of fear from their presence.

The hand on his shoulder squeezed and woke him up. He turned his head hastily and nervously to meet the crazy tall man smiling.

The man opened his mouth, drawing the word "Door" with his lips as he was having fun with Malik.

He felt small, in front of the people he protected a few years ago. This was the second time Malik realized how fearsome humans were.

---

Thud. ROAR.

The dragon screamed but it seemed like a small monster's roar as it had no strength left kneeling to the figure in front of it.

The figure appeared to be Diana's, cleaning the blood from her face with her arm. her eyes bloodthirsty.

Diana seemed to have changed even more in this fight.

No, it wasn't because of the fight. It was because she was aware of the truth now.

Her man and loved one was killing himself and his emotions for his mission. At this point, it will be no different than him fighting everyone on his own again.

She had no time to lose on mere trials.

Strength, she needed more strength. She was hungry.

She raised her hand at the dying dragon.

"I-I am exactly you, how are you stronger..." spoke the dragon.

Diana's eyes were cold. Her hand stretched out majestically. Her murderous intent screamed trembling the wing.

"I am by far this weak."

The dragon became pissed and roared, stood up trying to put up a last fight.

Diana spoke in a raged tone. "Submit to me!"

The energy from the dragon was being sucked by her hand. No matter the struggles it put up with it he couldn't break free.

Diana gritted her teeth angrily.

Her aura roared. "Shut up."

Her fingers majestically laid out, for the dragon to turn into a chunk of energy to dissipate as it entered her hand.

Diana's eyes were that of coldness and statue over the normal.

She stared at her arm as the power ran around her body wreaking havoc.

The power rampaged.

Diana's muscles started pulsating uncomfortably.

She raised both her hands and roared as she flew to the sky.

The sky turned dark and thunder screamed as it descended on her.

She was going against the will of nature.

heavenly tribulations kept hitting her. The sounds and magnitude of the thunder resonated in the entire realm.

Diana was screaming, flying, trying to control her power while fighting against the law of nature.

This world shook. The grey sky started cracking.

---

The baby dragon on Cayn's laying figure raised its eyes towards the cracks.

This was his world, normally even if someone was facing a heavenly tribulation level higher than Diana it shouldn't cause nature to act up this much.

Its baby eyes lowered to look at Diana's body in the air.

Truly, her body was one blessed by the heavens but cursed by them.

It is so perfect for martial arts and cultivation but nature will be the biggest obstacle to her second to her inner self.

It closed half its eyes. It all depends on her will.

Cayn's face was dark behind his hood, laying on the top of the castle.

His lips curled into a cold smile.

"About time they make their way."

---

It's been a year since Diana and Cayn were away from their country or their family.

Amina's plans never changed as she took on Sylvia's kingdom.

With her prowess being stronger than a sword saint no one dared say a word.

And since then it has been easier dealing with the demons from that territory.

Alongside the younger generation of heirs and talented people, raising a big army towards the demon god's disappeared kingdom that became nothing but a desert after Cayn's swoop.

Amina was the leader of the raids as they already started making their way toward the demon god of Gluttony's territory.

It's been months since the last time these people saw their homes.

Amina was leading the preparations to lead an assault over a demon king's territory at this moment.

Rin, Allen, Rai, and Sakura were all behind her including king Salman.

The others were planning on raiding another castle alongside their kings and queens.

Everyone's eyes were different. Life on the never-ending battlefield seemed to have changed many.

This time the humans were leading the hunt rather than waiting and defending their kingdoms.

But Amina's heart never lost focus nor vigilance as she always had a bad feeling about how well the raids have been going.

After all, the big heads were still far from showing themselves. As if all these territories were abandoned.

Cayn was the only one who could ease her heart.

But he wasn't here now, she was being careful to her fullest.

---

The Ten figures stood behind Malik as he walked towards the door.

The people behind him, already surpassed the level of the past six supremes who reined with terror. These people of less than a hundred years old, brought him shame. Cayn being a monster was enough. Now even these youngins brought him fear.

He was right. Cayn was always right.

A dimension door restriction?

He laughed at it. Cayn or these monsters would just bust a crack forcibly between dimensions if they ever wished to.

He sighed as he opened the huge door.

The black and golden aura screamed louder at them.

"He is calling." The tall man stepped and disappeared.

"Don't get ahead of yourself second brother!" The ten figures disappeared suddenly after him.

Malik's eyes were still staring at where they stood as the wind made his hair dance. His eyes were left in shock.

He was unable, to follow their speed.

He looked down in utter defeat and slowly made his way towards the door.

---

Cayn's fingers were stuck on the cigarette for a moment as he noticed their move.

His figure kept facing Diana who was still fighting the heavenly tribulation and her ascension.

His mouth breathed thick steam.

He took off his hood.

The color of his eyes changed. From light golden to a fading one that didn't shine. There were even traces of a dark color mixed with it.

As if, the light was being consumed, bit by bit.

His eyelids fell halfway on his dead eyes.

He was cold, terrifying, imposing.

His veins appeared all over his body. His scars were noticeable. It's been a while since he stopped hiding them.

But they looked murderous, his entire body was.

"Hurry..." his breathless and deep voice shook and spoke quietly.

His eyes turned and saw what was left of his cigarette fade, only for another one to appear.

He stared coldly.
