After walking for about ten minutes, Yin decided to stop and take a rest. The pain had gotten much better, but it was still quite painful to the average person. Thankfully, he could now walk at the normal human speed.
'I need to learn if this world holds supernatural powers.' He thought to himself as he sat on the bed.
The door randomly opened once again, alerting Yin immediately. 'It seems no one is used to knocking before entering, that makes sense seeing how I was in a coma for so long.' Yin thought to himself as he looked towards the door.
Inside walked a woman with a black and white maids dress on. She had her hair in a bun and was pushing along a small cart. Atop of the cart was a metal cloche that seemed to be covering a dish.
'Food?' Yin thought to himself as he stood up and walked towards the cart.
"Wow... so it seems he wasn't lying. The so called waste of a noble awoke from his unstoppable slumber." She said, staring at Yin in disbelief.
"Huh? What the hell are you talking about? Just give me my food and don't bother me." Yin said nonchalantly, acting like he hadn't heard anything. 'Being weak is truly a pity... everyone can freely hate on you without any remorse. Its a good thing I don't plan on being weak for long.' He thought to himself as he lifted the cloche.
"What!? How do you even know how to speak?" The maid said in an irritated tone. "Look at you, hah! So pathetic. I feel bad for you. Waking up into a world where everyone thinks your a waste and hates you. If I were you, I would simply kill myself." She said, slightly smirking.
Yin immediately looked up at the maid with cold and terrifying eyes that held a world of suffering behind them. "You are not me." He said in a low and coldhearted tone.
A cold shiver slowly creeped down the maids back. "Ugh! What a crazy kid!" She said with a bit of fear behind her teeth as she tried to shake off the shiver and left the room. Yin continued to look at her as she left with a serious expression on his face.
After leaving the room. 'That kid! What is wrong with him! His eyes... it was like staring into an endless and cold void! I felt as though I was going to be sucked in and killed almost instantly!' She thought to herself as sweat could be seen profusely pouring down her forehead.
"... What is this goop of shit." Yin said as he looked at the dish under the cloche. It was a brown and green extremely thick slime like soup that smelled and look heinous. 'This is not food!' Yin thought to himself as he walked out of the room.
'I just woke up from a coma of 12 years, have they no respect? Giving me that slop for food.' Yin thought to himself as he walked. Out of his room was a long and spacious hall that held many rooms.
After walking for a couple of minutes, he already started to smell a delicious aroma of food in the air. The sense of smell was one of Yin's specialties.
After walking for a couple more minutes, Yin made his way down a large and round stairway before finally arriving to what looked to be a large dining room that was already full of people.
'A large table with a chandelier on top, delicious food on the tables, and multiple people already dining, seems like I've hit the mark right on the x!' He thought to himself as he walked into the room.
On one of the chairs sat a familiar face, Hughes. Next to him a woman who wore an expensive looking dress with black lipstick and bitch black hair.
Although the table could fit dozens of seats, there were only four present, three of which were already filled.
A boy and a girl who looked the same age as Yin filled two of the seats, and the other one was filled by an 18 year old young woman.
Everyone had their gazes fixed on Yin as if he was a golden beetle. Some looked with confusion on their face, others with disgust and some with no reaction at all.
No one spoke at first, they all simply stared at Yin as he walked over to the table.
"Sorry about that! I seems I was a bit late!" A sudden voice could be heard as a young man who looked to be around 18 year old entered the dining room. He wore clean clothing and had pitch black hair. He was quite tall in stature, being 6'2 ft. in height and having a large and genuine smile on his face.
Immediately after entering, the young man froze on the spot. "Yin!? So you have actually awoken?!" He said, smiling even more than he was before. His face was clearly full of glee.
"The maids have been talking about you all day! How are you feeling? Are you hungry yet my little brother?" He said, grabbing a drumstick of meat from the other 12 year old boy just before he could take a bite and handing it in Yin's direction.
Yin simply paused and looked at him. He wasn't used to such kindness, and he didn't know if it was truly real or just a façade to trap him.
"Ah yes... you don't actually know who I am, you have never spoken to me... but I have spoken to you my brother, many times actually! I've been talking to you every day I can! Please, accept my gift!" He said, gesturing the drumstick of meat.
'He doesn't seem to have I'll intentions, I will trust him for now.' Yin thought himself as he grabbed the drumstick and took a large bite.
The two brothers felt the same feeling at that moment, but for completely different reasons. As Yin took a bite out of the meat, he couldn't help but take another, and another. Before he knew it, he had already all the meat off of the bone.
It was the most tender and delectable meat that simply melted when it contacted with the tongue, a true delicacy that some could kill for!
"Thank you! Brother!" Yin finally said with a smile on his face before grabbing another drumstick of the mountain of food on the table.
The young man couldn't help but smile look at his little brother eat and move freely. It was a joy that one could not explain.
'I must contain my emotions and be a good role model for my younger siblings! That is my duty!' He thought to himself as he blew out some steam from his nose.
"Enjoy! You will now eat with us as a family, so get comfortable!" He said as he reached his hand into thin air before pulling out a full fledged chair from what seemed like a warp in reality.
'What!? Is that magic!? Does he have chair abilities!?' Yin had many questions.
"You look like you want to know how I just did that." Yin's brother said as he put the chair on the floor next to the table.
This caught Yin off guard. He was sure that all of his expressions and emotions were undetectable at that present moment.
'Its simply a storage ring, see?' The young man said, showing his ring to Yin.
'A storage ring! I've heard of that in many novels.' Yin thought to himself.
"So, does magic exist in this world?" Yin abruptly said. 'I don't feel like wasting any time.' He thought to himself.
"What? Magic?" His brother said, looking quite confused.
'From that expression, it seems that magic was a worthless thought after all.' Yin thought to himself, seeing the look on his brothers face.
"Of course it does! What a bizarre question to ask! Magic is the source of which Uiovantio runs on! Haha!" He said as he sat down on his chair.
"Now sit and eat! You have finally awoken, spend some time with the family and enjoy the food!" He said.
"Stop this at once Uriel!" A loud voice could suddenly be heard. "What are you trying to do?! Bring this family down to its knees!?" The lady next to Hughes abruptly stood up.
"You know that he is not of any relation to us! He doesn't belong here with us nobles!" She cried as she slammed her palms against the table.
"Mother is right!" The 18 year old young woman stood up as well. "He is a street rat! An animal with peasant blood! I don't want him anywhere near this house, and everyone else agrees!" She yelled.
The smile on Uriel's face seemed to be struggling to stay alive. "I see... now I understand how you all feel. How about we all calm down and not yell, Yin has just woken up, he could be sensitive to-" Uriel was abruptly interrupted.
"Yin!? Why should we care about him!? He was born on the streets with the blood vermin in his veins! He is nothing but a vermin that snuck its way into our noble family, a leech that has been breaking us to the ground!!" The young woman finally yelled at the top of her lungs.
A loud sigh could be heard coming from Uriel. "Evangelina, watch your tone..." Uriel finally said in a low tone, looking at the young woman.
"This is my younger brother who your talking about..."
