Deal
Mudda was not typical player and he could revolt against this updated contract but for this he had to face the enmity of the many seniors. It was truth that he did not want to meet them again. However he was curious about Kara. Apparently he was standing silent and listening the boss but his brain was trying to figure the real motif.
It was necessary to know the puppet behind the puppet or mastermind behind the puppet. Mudda critically looked at the boss, he was trying to remember if ever he met this person or his face was recognizable in any way.
"You can retire after paying recompenses. This is the policy of the company. In case you are empty pockets I have great deal for you." Kara continued his speech while Mudda was least interested to listen his nonsense.
It was apparent that he was trying to trap him. The reason behind the trap was unknown. During the conversation Kara secretly gestured one of the players. The player left the hall and the building soon.
From the tone and expressions he was getting vibes that Mudda might not accept the west missions. It would ruin the plan. In his eyes Mudda was blunt and aggressive; this type of player could become headache if he left to meet the other seniors of the company.
Kara did not want Mudda to leave Skythrone Continent alive. Actually he was killing the sincere players of the company one by one. It was necessary to kill Mudda too.
There should be no one to question when the enemies destroy the roots of the company and close it with ruined reputation. There were few other motives those were behind the curtains and hidden from the players.
Kara ordered his loyal player to inform the ruffians and get ready when Mudda leave the building. Since he was alone and thinking to visit other branch Kara was ready to hunt him down.
Contrary to his expectations, Mudda sat on the seat.
It had been long that he was not active in the missions however Mudda decided to look for the previous identity of the skinny Kara to satisfy his curiosity. Also he could see a player leaving with strange expressions. He was experienced and did not want to fell in any trap.
"I am sure there must be something to pay off instead of the direct recompenses. I wanted to know what exactly they are. Let me guess it can be mission, isn't it?" Mudda spoke sparkling tone to surprise others. After speaking this he looked at the boss.
There was no way to revolt the scheming Kara. After living in the small town Mudda learned to control his desire to kill the heinous enemies immediately. Now he could act sober and sane until he could search the motives of the enemies and true colors.
Several changes happened in his nature too.
He was not here to make any deal however knowing that enemy was tricky Mudda decided to see what more tricks he could come up with. Also the Skythrone Continent was dangerous place.
From the actions of the enemy it was clear that he would not let him leave this continent alive. In this situation it was wise to act cool head rather than fiery.
His premonition was true. Kara ordered to close the retreat paths and the entry passage in case Mudda wanted to escape. It was years of experience that Mudda was able to read the silent actions of the enemy.
Kara took it as if he was secretive and smart however he was not as much composed as he thought he was. He was talking with Mudda not looking directly in his eyes.
Well actually Kara was not interested to hand over the west forests mission. He was only planning to kill but to see Mudda sitting and waiting for his reply he was stumped.
"You are experienced player. The few teams failed missions in the west forests in the last three months. Dragging the time ahead would result the difficulty for the players of the near regions. The monsters and the Freaks could potentially harm the present reputation of the company. If you are interested to pay off with the mission then sure you can look for this last mission. After the successful mission I will clear your file and sum up the contract." Kara spoke halfhearted.
Mudda was about to ask when Kara spoke again. "You can decide your team members since you will follow your own strategy for clearing this mission."
Kara was not overly disappointed. At least he could give excuse to the seniors about the mission assignment regarding west forests. He looked at the loyal players and they understood what they were supposed to do.
All of them were seven feet giants with their weapons ranging from level eleven to nineteen. There were few others stronger not present today in the meeting.
Kara did not want to let Mudda see all his hidden cards. Mudda nodded. He finally let out deep sigh. Kara gave him the impossible mission to kill him this way or that way.
He could sneak and see the expressions of the other players as if they were given silent mission.
It was not time to regret that he barged in the den of enemies. Mudda has level twenty weapon however if many enemies attack him then he would be helpless.
"I accept the mission and gather my team." Mudda accepted the mission. He stood up to see the lists of the players in the gallery when he heard Kara. "You will have only one hundred and fifty days to clear the west forests to your best. This is the time frame which is allotted by the second branch." Kara intentionally added this last sentence to distract Mudda from his enemies.
