Chapter 8 - Day 1(2)

Most part of the first region was muddy. The monsters were not big trouble if the mission holders work honestly.

It was clear that teams would not attack in night because it was favorable for the muddy monsters. They could trick the teams easily in the night. Nothing changed in these years.

Mudda moved in rapid pace. The night was now silent because the teams were waiting for the day to open up. Dim light fell on the first region while the monsters flashed their eyes at the silent surrounding. Some of them heard the strong player walking through the woods.

The trees were not in abundance however the available amount was enough to scold the players as well as the monsters. They wanted to scold both parties because they destroy their peace whenever battles start.

If someone has to ask who was annoyed in true sense then the trees might raise their hands if they had any. The night somewhat brought peace for short time because most of young teams prefer not to complete mission in the night. Hunting monster was half part of the mission. The second part was tough equally that was to get the relic from the dead or injured monster.

Running around whole night burned up half distance. Mudda thought it well and decided he would take a look at the teams those were working at the last part of the first region.

The night turned in to day bringing several challenges for the players. Some of them were busy tearing up the dead or injured monsters to get the relic. Few of the teams were caught in the troubles created by the monsters.

All of them had different reasons to worry. A team was unfortunate the monster at first appeared vulnerable however during battle they get caught seriously.

The mix breed showed one after the other attack skill and turned away the attacks of the team. The mission holder and team were vexed at the monster. They wanted to defeat it at any cost yet it was stubborn. The weapons were compatible however the monster showed the extraordinary movements that destroyed the expected outcome of the attacks.

One of the team members ran to save his guts because the attack of the monster fell on the chest. The strong leg attack would have maimed the chest however the lucky guy rolled to save his life. The monster was still bent on to take his life when he ran.

The others were attacking with weapons however unable to give any notable injury. None of their attack made through the body of the monster.

The seven feet big monster along with tail ran behind the unlucky guy. There were several types of relics. The company initially provided simple relics to the newbie players. In the team of the five players the weapon types were divided so to confront the monsters of matching characteristics. Most of the monsters in the first region were similar. They use mud as base for their attack and defense however few of the mix breeds were well learned to tackle players.

The Freaks and the monsters living in the first region were quite different from other regions. The characteristics of the monsters and the Freaks changed with regard to the ether conditions. This set strict limits for players and their strategies to tackle monsters in various parts of the Skythrone continent.

The survival rate of the players was at the danger level most of the time. Only obstinate type of players could upgrade their weapon level one or two in the ten months warning period.

There were multiple challenges for the players at every step when in the field and in the branch.

The first region have normal range of monsters however it was tough for the newbie and struggling teams to make their name in the short time. Mostly the time was not restriction for them however the methods of the monsters were ever changing.

It was due to the intellect level of the monsters. They took note of the teams and how they tried to defeat in the battle in order to mimic the method for the next time. It was similar of give and take cycle.

This was the reason that only strange strategy and unexpected methods could work against monsters. Sometimes weakest monster could create big trouble for players regarding the situation.

The biggest reason could be the fact that the monster got wind of the attacker team. The monster could plan something terrible for the team and give them huge surprise of their lives.

The result of this 'surprise' could be dangerous for the team. If they escaped and saved their lives without big damage then they would be called luckiest to survive. In both cases it was burdensome for the mission holder to carry the mission.

It was day opening time. The monster was using tail to shuffle the mud at the players. The somewhat thick mud made them twitch. The newbies were normal humans. Even if thick mud did not give injury still they did not want to get heaped up in the mud.

Rest of players ran to attack while the monster was focusing at the single player. It was time to reap the attack. The mission holder enthusiastically rushed in order to make the first real attack however he did not know that the smart monster was not oblivious about the surroundings.

In fact it was keeping eyes and sneaking. The tail suddenly waved in the air and smashed at the head of the mission holder. The scream of the mission holder echoed. It was enough to scare others.

Mudda furrowed his brows to see how the monster was giving tough time. With this rate the team would be wiped out one by one.

He walked right in front of the monster. His burly body and the stone like expressions made the monster halt. The first thing which the monster noticed was none other but the weapon. It was normal for any monster to take note of the weapon of the player first in order to plan how to tackle.

But here level twenty weapon was shining bluntly as if annoyed the monster twitched. It was not common that stronger players came to bully low level monsters.
