CHAPTER NINE
WARNING : Yuan thought Feifei is a woman. He will refer to Feifei as a "she" or "her".
"What took you so long to come down?" Shan Xuefei is thinking her son might be busy with some documents. Yuan almost always brings his work at home.
Never mind.
Regardless if its work or other things, it can be set aside. Its imperative to secure a wife!
"Change of clothes." Yuan's no nonsense chilly reply.

If she doesn't already know how cold her son is, she would have shown him her knife skills!
"Mother asked me to bring you to Shen's place. Let's go." Yuan said in his deep sexy voice that's making Feifei's insides twist and turn.
Wait... Feifei froze for a second.
Thinking of Yuan's words, its like him saying he was forced by his mother and he has no other choice. That he wants to get this task done and over with as soon as possible.

Just as I thought. Really cold and heartless.
"Uhm..." Despite his inner thoughts, Feifei still hummed softly in response.
Shan Xuefei is agitated by Yuan's cold voice.
Stupid son! How can you talk to a girl that way?! And how will you be able to get a wife with that unapproachable, ugly face of yours?!
Shan Xuefei is really helpless and weak against this son of hers!
Even a baby knows how to coax adults. Why can't her son?!
"Go..Go, slowly. Feifei remember to come visit your Aunt if you have the time, okay?" Shan Xuefei can't help but sigh and wave them away.
She is really defeated by her son. How can she have a stupid son!
"Yes. I will come visit my Aunt if I'm free. Don't despise me then." Feifei said softly in a meltingly sweet voice.
Shan Xuefei really wants this girl to be her daughter in law! So sensible and sweet and knows how to talk.
Unlike her foolish son.
Looking at her son, she snorted loudly in despise.
Yuan blinked his eyes in confusion. It seems like his mother.... despised him? He wondered what he did.
"Let's go now." Yuan urged.
"Yes. Yes." Feifei appeased the almighty lion.
Standing up, she waved at Aunt Xuefei goodbye. "Aunt, thank you for the time. I will leave first"
"Be careful, Feifei."

Walking with this stone faced man makes Feifei shiver with cold.
How emotionless is he?
This block head is really a hard one to crack! So serious.... but handsome nevertheless. Feifei giggled secretly.
Yuan looked back at Feifei when he heard her laughing softly. "Is something the matter?" He inquired.
Feifei shrank his neck in fear. Did he hear me laughing? Does he have wolf ears?
Feifei just shook his head in answer. Looking anywhere else but him. Then he heard Yuan sigh heavily.
"Let me carry the rolled up bag for you. It looks heavy to me." He extended his hand to help.
Feifei smiled.
At least he is not completely hard hearted. He still has some consideration.
Feifei gave up his rolled up bag with no pretense. It was really heavy and his shoulders are getting numb! He would be stupid to refuse someone's kindness. And he is not stupid.
"Thank you." Feifei shyly said while looking around the area. "Is the house built up in the mountains?"
Yuan turned to her and nodded his head in answer.
Feifei can't help but curse.
This man don't know how to talk, does he? He is worse than Master! How expensive are his words?!
Feifei felt like this day is really such a bad day for him. He met all kinds of misfortunes and undesirable circumstances.

Yuan secretly looked at Feifei wondering if she recognized him as the one whom she cursed earlier?
The horse will not really run into her. The road is wide enough for two wagons side by side. Its not possible for his horse to hit her.
He just stopped the horse thinking someone had an accident. But he never thought this strange woman would think he caused the near accident.
It was clearly a misunderstanding.
But thinking of how scared she was and how sorry her state was when she fell down, he should have apologized.
But his urges were overwhelming him.
He just imagined her in different sensual ways last night and he saw her the next day!
It makes him want to realize his fantasies real bad.
He never thought he could be this degenerate when he is attracted to someone. Yuan groaned in distaste.
Yuan tried to even out his breathing as his heart is beating madly for the third time in his twenty seven years of living.
And all these three experiences are courtesy to this enchantress.
Clenching his fists, he hoped Feifei will not hear the wild beating of his heart like a war drum.
Walking fast to make a distance away from Feifei, he tried to think of something else or else his heart will explode in no time!

Feifei at this time is wondering why his cousin Shen would want to build his home up in the mountain.
Isn't the mountain dangerous? What if wild beasts intrude their home?
Walking now at the foot of the mountain, Feifei can see a clear stream flowing down from it.
"Where does this water go?" Feifei asked.
"To a river in the village." Yuan answered simply. No more, no less.
