After a good night's rest, Rowan woke up feeling refreshed, both mentally and physically. He planned to make the chocolates first, the agreement stated that Rowan had to hand in 200 chocolate bars. Rowan found that the flavors were random, it could be dark chocolate, milk chocolate, caramel, and others. His taffy ended up like that to, he would always get random flavors and color. He got to work right away, activating Hot Chocolate, manipulating it into the desired shapes, as well as the melting point. He kept repeating the same process over and over.

Half an hour later, piles upon piles of chocolate bars could be seen stacked on top of each other, floating in the air. He didn't bother ordering them by flavor or color, he honestly couldn't tell the difference between most of them.
'Now, how am I going to deliver this to Eoghan?' He can't just bring them with him, it would infringe upon the new laws imposed by the city lord. Rowan remembered that the person overseeing this city is actually a Viscount, two whole ranks above Lord Farwuad. Though, it wasn't through merit or skill, no, apparently the man was affiliated with one of the princes vying for the crown and received it for his "achievements" to the country. In the pub, Rowan had heard that that particular prince was actually in the lead for the crown, but he doesn't know if that is still the case due to the system.
'A lot of important figures have either gone missing, or been found dead.' Rowan found it interesting that all of those figures happened to be associated with the prince supporting the viscount of this city, Viscount Adam. Rowan does not wish to be involved in all these politics and intrigue, but he knew that the chocolates he was handing to Eoghan would be sold mainly to the nobles who were all aligned with the prince backing Viscount Adam. Rowan definitely had to be careful, regardless of his importance to that prince's faction, he probably looks like an easy target anyways, all by his lonesome.
'Whatever, I'll think about it later, I'm just a nobody right now anyways.' Rowan decided to go eat first before going to where Eoghan's merchant group was based to have them come get the chocolate. Thinking so, Rowan manipulated the melting point of the chocolate bars, so they wouldn't be melted.
Rowan left his house, after grabbing some coins, and made his way to Niall's Black Horse for breakfast. When he got there, it was even more crowded than yesterday, the city was especially busy in the morning he assumed.
Rowan ordered a dish with some eggs, sausages, and something similar to pancakes. On the side, there was a small bowl of soup, Rowan didn't know what was in it, but the waiter called it Niall's Special. Rowan was surprised at how familiar the food here was to his past life, but he thought that the food here was better because it didn't taste like preservatives and chemicals. Rowan chose to have juice today, it was apple juice.
"Did you hear? One of Baron Eoin was found dead in his carriage morning, along with his guards..." A burly man said, taking a swig of his drink shortly after.
"I heard that his carriage was found cleaved clean in half, and that there were scorch marks all around the area. Baron Eoin was attacked on his way home last night." A stout man said, with a solemn look on his face.
"This city is going to h*ll..." A red-haired woman chimed in afterwards, it was clear that these people had an idea as to why important figures in this city were dying and going missing.
The conflict between those vying for the throne seemed to be escalating, and people were getting used to their powers. Rowan thought that Baron Eoin and his entourage were taken down pretty quickly from the scenes he heard being described, but he wasn't sure whether this information was true or not. It didn't involve him though, but he took note of it.
After finishing his breakfast and paying, started heading towards where Eoghan's group were based, the branch was located near the center. He would also take that chance to go to the bathhouse.
On his way there, he saw people using their abilities, and nobody there punishing them. He walked up to a man, that seemed to be using a water related ability. He was filling up a well.
"Good day to you sir, I thought that Viscount Adam forbade the use of powers in Minitrysa." Rowan asked the man curiously.
"And to you to as well, young man. See here, Viscount Adam actually makes exceptions for those who have powers that can be of use to the city, you need to go to the adventurer's guild." the man responded, seeing that Rowan was polite, he didn't mind making some time to answer his question.
Thanking the man, Rowan now understood why Viscount Adam forbade the use of powers in the city. If one wanted to use their powers, they would have to go to the adventurer's guild to register themselves, as well as writing down specifics related to their power and class. Viscount Adam, who was probably acting under the orders of the prince, wanted to keep a tight leash around those with powers, as well as bringing them into their fold. As the conflicts occurred more and more, those with strong powers would be needed, so Rowan assumed that they were filtering out those that fit the criteria. Those with strong powers would be accounted for and recruited into the prince's faction, while those that didn't weren't a threat and or weren't useful would be ignored.
Rowan would probably be placed among the latter and he probably wouldn't be targeted, but if anyone thought that he was some weak lamb, then they would be in for a rude awakening.
It was truly a long trek, but Rowan finally made it to where Eoghan's group was based. Walking through the door, Rowan walked up to the front counter and stated his purpose.
"Good morning, my name is Rowan, could you call Eoghan." Rowan did not inform them that he would be coming today, so he hoped that he wouldn't be kicked out or anything of the sort.
"Of course." Thankfully, they seemed to know his name, Eoghan probably informed them that he would be coming sometime around this month. The employee promptly made their way through a door behind them, and came back with Eoghan a moment later.
"Hahaha! My good friend Rowan, what brings you here today?" Eoghan seemed to recover from yesterday's "negotiations," he seemed much more energetic today, as if he was the one receiving 80% of the proceeds, with taxes accounted and paid for.
"Well, I actually finished making the chocolate bars, but I need you to send some people and bring them in." After Rowan said that, Eoghan laughed out loud even more boisterously, he was in a good mood for some reason. He was truly a character, the other day he was prepared to fight it out with Rowan, but now he was acting like a good friend.
"Good, good! I knew I trusted the right person! I'll have some people go pick it up later. Come, come, let us have a few drinks to celebrate! Some of my good friends are very curious about you." the man's belly could be seen jiggling up and down, his face was a bit red, he was truly in a good mood. The few chocolate bars that Rowan had handed Eoghan, actually made their way to several nobles, and they were a massive hit. Eoghan had made several more connections and deepened his relationship with several nobles, but Rowan didn't know that.
"Uh, sorry I have to g-" Before Rowan could even finish, Eoghan had dragged him into a room with a large table in the center, and seated around the table were what appeared to be several nobles.
'Well, sh*t.' Rowan thought, as Eoghan started introducing him to the people looking on curiously after bursting into the room.
