So firstly I would like to mention this is a completely new universe from One Piece. There will be no canon characters and no lore that is from the Manga/Anime of One Piece
The world and concept of devil fruits belong to Eiichiro Oda I am just creating my own fan story with different characters and using his world and power systems.
I know this series may not be very popular without canon characters but this series is to bring some interesting characters to life in their own universe and to improve my writing skills so if any reader has any criticism please feel free to share.
I will update this Fic monthly for definite. It may end up being quicker. Or I may release more than one arc the following week after the month ended or something. As I said I'm only doing this for practice but I've given myself a lot to write about. Anyway I really hope you enjoy the story and you stick around till I either give up or we inevitably finish.

The king of the pirates was a title once known across the seas by everyone as the keeper of the legendary treasure and the freest pirate of them all. But that all changed on the fateful day. They dubbed it. The Day Of Salvation. This was the day the military force of the navy and world government grew and fought against the best of the best and even the king of the pirates himself. They wiped out a generation of old pirates and the Marines became heroes but they were corrupt and everyone was blinded by their new saviours. The legendary treasure was never found among the wreckage. Some say it's on an island. Some say it's at the bottom of the ocean. Some claim the marines have it and are experimenting on it. The great pirate era looked like it was at an end until one man. The pirate king who had previously been claimed dead spoke out. "Heed my words, people of the world. If you seek out the truth. And rebel against the rules and lies. The legendary treasure will reveal itself!" He was killed on the spot. A bullet through the skull. His words however were alive and living in the minds of others thus bringing about the revival of the great pirate era kicking up a new pirates era.
