Chapter 11 - The Sniper

They followed the agent down the plane and past the several officials that were working in the warehouse.

They stopped in a small sector where Jacob sat with a special computer that displayed a green map.

"So where is our boy." Grey asked as soon as they had arrived behind Hott.

Jacob kept gazing at the screen while he said; "With the use of the tracker, I traced him to this point," He pointed at a dotted point on the green map that kept blinking.

"That's just a few blocks from where we are." Scott said, facing them, "He is nearby."

"Yeah, at an almost century old multi rent apartment building." Jacob said, tapping some things as the map warped itself, and zoomed in to show the apartment building among many others.

"Grey is going in this time, you stay as watchby. This time we have to make sure we get our guy. No mistakes, no flaw in the plan. I want a smooth mission." Hott instructed.

"Yeah yeah." Scott rolled his eyes.

Jacob pulled out a chip from a small laptop and stood up, facing Grey, "This is a sucking chip, one of my greatest inventions. Once you reach this guy, take his phone and insert it into the phone's charging port. Don't worry it will take care of the size itself." Jacob handed it over to her.

She retrieved it, "What does it do?"

"Well, just in case this dude gets away one way or the other. And I do suppose whoever sent him the message is calling him. Plugging that chip into the phone, it will suck out every information. Calls, dials, and even transactions ever made by the phone. We could easily decipher the frequent one." Jacob explained.

"Mmn, impressive." Scott eulogized, the latter went red at the instant.

Hott smiled, "So, you are on backup Steel. Incase our guy somehow finds a way to leave the house."

"I like the sound of that." Grey smiled, holding the chip tightly in her hands.

Scott grinned, "Let's get hunting."

Scott sat in the car with Grey, he palmed his tuxedo and his hair, before strapping his seatbelt.

Grey faced him confused, "Are you really using a seatbelt?"

"Well yeah, i have codes too. Surprised?" He grinned.

He tapped a button right under the control wheel as the car gave a start ignition, he shifted the gear shift to reverse and slapped his shoe on the accelerator. The car roved backwards and turned outside the warehouse before speeding off into the deserted street and soon caught up with the main road.

The car parked in front of the apartment building, where several pedestrians walked past.

Scott turned off the car and turned to her, as she loaded bullets into the pistol.

"Your drop." He said.

Grey opened the door as it pushed upwards and she got down, closing it behind, Scott watched her place the gun into her back pocket and used the top to shield it.

She looked sideways before walking in.

She strolled into the apartment, which looked like it was vacant, as she couldn't see anyone except sounds from various rooms.

She climbed up the stairs, a comm in her hear that had Jacob's voice directing her.

Vlades Blake was in his scattered room, that had several papers and dirty cloths on the floor.

A small table on one section of the tiny room. The table had cocaines, cigarettes and a gun on it.

Vlades himself sat on his crooked window, smoking cigarette and his phone placed on his ear.

"... He almost grabbed me I tell you." He said and paused for a while, "No he didn't see my face or put a tracker on me, but I still feel unsafe. I mean he is Scott Steel, he could find me." He complained, smoking slowly and facing outside the window.

Gazing down at the several cars that raced past the road and passerby.

"What? No, of course not. But I do expect my pay soon sir." He removed the cigarette from his mouth and threw it on the floor, grinding it with his feet.

He stopped quickly when he heard a knock on his door.

"I will call you back sir, I have company." He said and cut the call, going to the table and retrieving the gun, "Who's there?"

No reply.

"I said who is there?"

"It's me Claire." Came the familiar voice.

Vlades sighed and put the gun away,

"What do you need?" He asked, rather arrogantly.

"I brought you pie."

He mumbled and opened the door in a way that only one side of his body was shown, "Claire, what do you want really?"

He asked the blonde lady.

And immediately, she was pushed towards him and Grey came in with a gun pointed at her. Vlades was clearly scared, as he raised his hands up quickly.

"Good job Claire. Now, Vlades I'm going to need you to stay..." Before she could finish, the young man had shoved her gun aside and dash out.

Grey grinned, "They just never learn." She turned to the room to check for his phone and found it laying on the table.

Vlades dashed down the stairs and into the backyard, he ran into his car and turned it on quickly, panting as he did so.

He drove the car sideways and passed a Lamborghini.

Scott smiled when the car raced past him,

"It's all about to get cranky." He ignited the car, and dragged the wheel as the car gave a smooth turn and followed Vlades'
