I look at the goblins that are walking and screeching while the hold various clubs and daggers off questionable quality. After a minute all the goblins aside from the armored ones move, while I'm not sure if they have concept of time I wait a few more seconds until what sounds like the crashing of a gong can be heard.
When the sound finally reaches the goblins all but the armored ones start going inside the cave while I keep waiting until the goblins are out of earshot. I then dash forwards and cut the head off of a goblin while Angelica kills the other two.
The other goblins then found their brains pierced by a shadow thread soaked in blue blood. I then put all their equipment inside my storage while burning the bodies. After the cleanup we start heading down the mineshaft.
After walking for around 10 minutes until I hear some footsteps. Without many options for stealth I simply pick Angelica up before getting on the celling and making a bit of the celling come down for us to hide behind.
I wait a minute before the first goblins comes and to my surprise this one stands at 7 feet, unlike the other goblins behind it, who are all around 4 feet in a variety of colors. I then turn our cover into a thick wall before turning the mineshaft into a bunch of spikes.
All the smaller goblins still alive start screeching and running around panicking while the big one makes a few clicks with his tongue before letting out a whistle. All the remaining goblins start making a circle around him until Angelica starts.
She starts throwing daggers with her superpower, still in my arms mind you, while I make shadow swords and kill the big guy and the other five she left alive. After that I clean up the bodies while opening the shaft back up while walking.
After another ten minutes the mineshaft suddenly straightens and I get on guard while increasing how far I can see to a massive hole with a bunch of goblins all around living. Some goblins are mining while others are eating, some sorting the ore their mining while a massive goblin sits on an even bogger throne.
I keep walking until I can hear a bunch of what I'm assuming is goblin tongue between them. After awhile of walking me and Angelica are getting closer until I suddenly hear a loud screech from a goblin sorting ores.
After the screech the goblins that were resting get up and switch start taking pickaxes while the other goblins go down and put their pickaxes away. They keep mining until we reach the exit and I stop before tossing Angelica my sniper rifle.
She casts a mist of darkness before I grab her and run up the wall, making a small cave for her to hide in before I shadow step down while using earth magic to impale a few goblins with spikes while I use a shadow hand to move a wooden puppet.
I start killing any goblin in sight before the massive goblins let's out an ear piercing scream while the goblin then stop panicking and get ready while the massive stands up and takes a sword that was at the pack of his throne.
He then blocks a bullet from Angelica while I keep cutting down the goblins. After half a minute of the slaughter all the small goblins step back and the seven feet variants take over. I'm about to start the fight until the thirty foot goblin takes the chance to slash at Angelica.
She dodges the swing by jumping out of the sword and some shadow tendrils from her back like hooks to descend before catching the sword with some shadow tendrils and flinging herself over to me.
I then dash towards a hobgoblin before it blocks, causing me to be pushed back a bit before I send a shadow blade through it's head. Angelica then comes crashing down and crushes a goblins skull with a kick before making a bladed tendrils appear out of her back.
She dashes towards the other side while I send the wood dummy to distract the big one with the sniper. I then make shadow blades for all ten of my shadow hands, while blocking the attacks from all sides.
I then slash all at all their heads, killing seven of them before I shoot two more while Angelica kills the rest of them. I then dash over to the ore and take all of it only to find more then falls down in it's place.
I'm confused as to why this would happen but I keep taking it until a massive blast of heats melts all the metal to a liquid. I quickly jump backwards, looking to a bunch of cracks forming in the ground to then find a massive flaming lizard come out of the ground.
It then starts eating the melted metal while I quickly shadow step over to Angelica. I then turn battle mode on while making all my shadow hands empty themselves and I grow spiked tendrils from those arms.
I then looks at me and Angelica before rushing at us, I manage to dodge the attack as I shadow step to the side with Angelica, but I then follow up with one outside while using a good bit of my energy to collapse the cave.
We then land right outside the cave and Angelica makes three shadow hands before she starts going at top speeds while I lie down and eat an energy pill while emptying the power cell for my energy back.
We keep running back until I hear a massive roar and catch a glimpse of the giant goblin riding the hundred foot lizard towards us. Angelica then takes a sharp turn into the forest while I place nanocams all over it.
The roar then gets louder and I can hear a tree crashing down. Angelica starts going faster, using more hands and tendrils while I take out my weaponry as I make a bunch of shadow hands and get all my guns out.
Bringing this to a town isn't an option and leaving suddenly would definitely be bad for the surroundings, and those surrounding just so happen to be a town.
I may be a murderer, but I'm not killing those uninvolved unless I have to.
