As I take all my guns out I put all the pistols and semi autos in the shadow hand while I make the sniper rest sideways on my shoulder while I grab commlink I made with nanobots while sending it to Angelica's ear.
We keep going without seeing them for a few seconds until I see some trees falling over and a ball of fire headed towards us.
"UP!" I scream this into the commlink and Angelica sends us well above the trees before the fireball burns a good part of the trees get reduced to ash while I make platforms of solid air for Angelica to land with.
While she keeps jumping down I keep shooting at the lizard while coating the bullets in poison while I shoot them. I manage to hit the goblin in the eye and it's tumbles off the lizard. I then use shadow hands and strings to dice it up.
I then go to grab it's massive sword when we land only to find that when I tried pulling it over with some shadow strings, the lizard swallowed it whole and the flames surrounding it gets more intense.
It lets out a massive roar with head upwards and I take this opportunity to make a massive shadow blade at it's neck covered in poison laced strings. It just barley manages to cut the flesh and I wait for the poison to take effect.
I then see that it's blood is on fire, and it's still coming towards us at full force. I then swallow a few pills to get back to full while reloading. The lizard sees this as a chance and suddenly starts speeding up and the ground behind it starts burning.
It keeps getting closer while I keep hitting it with bullets, after around a minute of it getting closer it shoots a massive blast of fire towards us, and we don't have enough time to jump. I then make a water shield reinforced with a shadow shield.
I then place the magic circle for the thunder drill while making fifty flying scythes. We keep at around the same distance for a minute or so until we reach a clearing. I then see it headed to the spot where I placed my traps as I activate them.
We then arrive at a massive cliff with no way across at our level. Angelica then starts running left while I jump off and keeps it's attention so it stays in place. It dashes towards me at blinding speeds and swings it's tail down. I push myself to the side while grabbing it with a few shadow hands.
I then place my cyborg hand on it's tail while it tries to turn it's tail away from me, a bunch of scythes and a drill covered in black flames rush into it and cut into a good bit. I then shadow step to the side that was cut while slashing downwards.
It's tail is still somewhat hanging on when I land and I see Angelica right behind me when I land. I throw the scythe up and she jumps upwards catching it. I then teleport away to dodge the now falling tail.
I then quickly teleport next to it as I drain the energy from the appendage. I manage to get enough from it before I start casting a massive shadow blade 40 feet tall while swallowing the light while Angelica starts making massive shadow hands to keep the lizard down.
The lizard starts dodging while I start spinning the blade. I then eat an energy pill while Angelica starts making a massive shadow hand that manages to grab the lizard and I send the blade straight through one of it's eyes.
I then collapse on the floor, though I can see the massive shadow hand Angelica made now ablaze with her shadow flare grab the sword and pierce the other eye the sword while putting the flame on the sword.
I then see a shadow hand grab me and pull me up. I switch the powercell and I set my body to automatic, allowing it to get right next to the corpse. I then start taking the energy from the corpse, and it's enough to fill up the gem in my shoulder to a quarter.
I then look over to Angelica to find her out cold with some cuts, but otherwise nothing major. She still had all her limbs and nothing was going to scar or be permanently damaged.
I lay down next to Angelica while putting the corpse inside a storage. After around an hour, she hasn't woken up. I then decide to cut this visit to short and I make a tear before landing back on my bed.
I look at my heart and I find no damage this time. I put her down on my bed while I exit the room to find everyone looking at me funny. I just stand behind the counter and they all look at me funny.
"Your early."
"Back to recover. Anything happen?"
"Aside from destroying a few cults started in your honor? No."
"Come again?"
"Yeah there were like 3 cults that started in your name. Also another witch cult tried to start again. All of them are six feet under."
"Damn, anyways you guys pick your weapon of choice?"
"A Buster Sword." With the performance Justin gave with the witches I expected that.
"Twin Serrated Blades." I expected something stupid from Amelia first, though I'm not complaining.
"Ten throwing knives, a pair of daggers and some chain." Not what I was expecting from Bianca but it works.
The other two weren't here so I decide to head back with a beer as I start hammering away while trying to improve my katan's eject feature.
