After two months, Haera was discharged from the hospital. He had requested a DNA test for Haera and the baby when the results came out, leaving him in shock. It came out positive, she was the mother of the child. How was that possible? He was told that she doesn't have a child? Did they lie to him or was the laboratory results faulty?
He asked them to repeat the test but it was still positive. He had to accept that she was the mother and he was lied to. Ryan didn't know where to take her to and definitely not his family house where crazy people lived. He needed a place where she would've been comfortable with her son but didn't know where to take her.
He thought of keeping her with a friend but he didn't want others to know about her especially concerning the accident and bullet. He needed to also find out what really happened to her. Not knowing what to do, an idea dropped into his mind.
He decided to take her to the hotel where he would pay for two weeks before he could find a place in the city for her to stay at. He went to the hospital on the day that she was to be discharged. He thanked the nurse and the doctor with the other teams who operated on her as he took her child in his arms, while the nurse helped Haera to the car where Ryan parked it at the entrance of the hospital so that she wouldn't stress herself walking to the parking lot.
Her health had improved rapidly especially since she was getting all the care and medical attention that Ryan ensured she got. Her operation was a success and she was recovering fast except that she still felt the pain. When they reached his car, he opened the front door for Haera as she gently sat inside while he placed the baby on her arms.
He thanked the nurse profusely for being such a kind and caring woman to them. He gave her some money to take care of herself as she also thanked them and wished Haera a quick recovery. He sat in the car and asked if they were good to go and she replied in affirmative. He then told her where he intended to take her to, to a hotel but she refused, insisting she's taken to her husband.
"How will I tell her that she has no husband and she's not married?" He thought to himself, contemplating what to do next. She might be right, she might have a husband which no one was aware of or he was being fooled by her workplace and the old man. He tried to convince her that he would take her to the hotel to get a rest after which he would take her to see her husband before she finally accepted. She must have been married or had a child with a man so he thought.
They arrived at the hotel and he booked a room for two weeks for her. She didn't have much clothes with her so they had nothing much to carry. They entered the room he had booked as that was where she would Lodge for the period of two weeks. He told her to feel comfortable as he would go and get her husband for her.
He gave her a phone that he had bought for her, it was already loaded with airtime and everything a person needed from s phone. She thanked him after which he showed her how to operate it. He told her that hime had already dialed his digits in the phone so anytime she needed to talk to him, she could call, text or chat him up.
He left after a while with the internation of going shopping to get her and her baby some clothes and provisions. He bought three boxes of clothes and kept them in his car boot before heading to the provision store where he bought cornflakes, milk and other cereals. He was done with shopping for the day and was about to head back to he hotel when an idea struck in his mind.
He went back to the address where she lived before she had an accident with the hope of meeting the old man. On reaching there, he was told that thebokd man had passed away. He fell ill and died after which his corpse was taken by his family do burial in another city. He tried to ask around if anyone knew Haera but unfortunately, no one did as all the old tenants had moved away and Haera's uncle's house was not only sold but also got demolished.
How can events happennso fast like that? He wondered as he drove back to the hotel without getting any useful information. He had to start lying to her to keep her happy. He unpacked everything and took them to the room where she was lodged. He had the spare key to her hotel room do he needed no to knock for long if she wasn't responding. He used the keys to get into the room but didn't see her inside, except for the baby that was lying down on the bed.
He knew she was in the bathroom and needed not to look for her or shout he name as he patiently waited for her to be done taking her bath. The baby was fast asleep so Heba at the edge of the bed to avoid waking him up. Haera came out of the bathroom with a white towel hat stopped at her knee wrapped around her body.
He looked at her from toe to head, admiring and staring at her. She could feel his eyes piercing through her soul as she stood there, rooted to the foot mst that was placed at the entrance of the door. Her hair was wet as she stood at the door all drenched. She tried to walk towards the bed where her clothes were.
She was too concious of her steps and also nervous that Ryan was still looking at her when she missed her steps, almost falling as Ryan rushed to her. He was quick enough to have caught her in his arms as both of them stared at each other. He looked at her in the eyes and also her pink lips, which pouted nervously. He felt flow of emotions, rushing down in him as he had lost control of himself with this beautiful damsel in his arms.
He brought his face closer to hers and was just about to kiss her when she stood on her feet and released herself from him. Coming back to his senses, he apologized and she apologized too. She picked up the clothes that she had removed to wear the when he stopped her, telling her he bought her new ones to put on and she should leave that one for laundry.
He opened the bags he brought and picked out a blue gown for her to put on. She collected it and thanked him, telling him to turn as she wanted to dress up. He then realized she was a shy lady as he smiled, doing as she said. She dressed up quickly before he could turn that she didn't wear the dress properly. She didn't know how to put it on as it had some belts and zips that were intertwined to each other.
He came to her and helped her put it on properly. He opened the zip again and tied the ropes for her as they were supposed to be. When he was done, he sipped up the gown, gently and slowly as his hand touched her bare skinned back. She felt it but didn't say anything to him. He raised her long hair, pushing it to one side of her neck as he zipped up the dress to the end.
She muttered a "thank you" to him and went to the dressing mirror to apply some make up. He watched her from behind as he admired her through the mirror. She looked beautiful than ever as he watched her transformation.
"You look beautiful." He complimented her.
"Thanks." She replied shyly.
Room service came into the room with their dinner. They ate together after which they chatted for some time and he informed her he was leaving. He kissed her son goodbye on the forehead as he was still sleeping. Holding the handle of the door, she called him.
"Sir… thank you for everything and for the clothes too." She showed her appreciation to him.
"You're welcome…it's nothing." He replied her with a warm smile on his face.
