Third Individual's POV
Tyler laughed at her remarks. 'This woman rather catches on pretty quickly. But why does it seem like I've met her before? Her eyes look awfully familiar, ' he thought, looking at her.
The woman seemed uncomfortable of the states that he's giving her. It's obvious from the way she shivers and the way sweat started to flow from her forehead that she want to go home as soon as possible.
"If you want to act like you're having fun, you might as well drink some wine," she whispered to Tyler's left ear. "I don't want to. I can't afford to be drunk before the meeting could even start," he stuttered, crossing his arms.
"Geez, do you think that meeting could even start? Listen up, if everyone gets drunk that means that such a thing as a meeting won't even start unless you want a drunkard meeting!" She said, striking the truth In Tyler's mind.
"I..." It seems like Tyler's at a loss for words. "I... I don't care! Drunk or not, I'll get them to start the meeting! Goodness, it's all the fault of these bastards who suggested that we have a meeting at a club. I knew it was suspicious! They all just wanted to drink In the first place!" He yelled.
"Shh, they might hear you!" She signaled a shush sign to him. "They're drunk, they can't hear me! They're already focused to the sound of the fucking darn loud music and the women, so why would they focus on me?!"
Oh no. It seems like Tyler had lost his patience and finally got angry. He looked at each investor and coworkers and yelled, "Shall we start the meeting or shall we start discussing your resignation letters?!"
All of the sudden, everyone felt quiet. The loud music in the room suddenly vanished and Tyler caught the attention of everyone. The loud, irritating music was replaced by some peaceful ones and everyone looked at Tyler as they said, "Let's start the meeting, sir..."
It's quite remarkable how they are able to focus after Tyler said those words despite them being drunk. Perhaps it's the perk of someone who's used to drinking. After all, the majority of South Koreans love to drink.
Especially the fact that South Korea's unparalleled liquor consumption is almost entirely due to the country's love for a certain fermented rice spirit called Soju.
"Okay, let's start..." It's been a while since the meeting started. However there's nothing special about what they're talking about. They're not mentioning the collaboration, and instead they are exchanging opinions like what you do in debates.
"Increase makeup goods? Hmm that would be nice. What else?" Tyler asked. "I guess we should have also brought Miss Jang to our meeting. Her choices were always good," one of the coworkers said. Tyler looked at every woman in the room and it seemed like they all passed out from drinking.
Not to mention, the woman she was with earlier seems to have passed out as well while drinking beer during the meeting so far. As soon as he confirmed that every woman was unconscious, he said, "Well then, what do you think about our collaboration with the Jang Company?"
"I think it's going well as expected. After all, Miss Jang isn't the type to make a project fail," they said. "However, isn't the reason why we collaborated with them is because they also experienced the downfall we felt? We wanted some information as organizations who have something similar to one another," Tyler mumbled.
"Ah, do you mean the collaboration between the Lee company and Miss Cindy Venicee?" One of the investors, wearing blue said. "Yes. They also contacted Cindy Venicee. I was hoping to get some more information about their Collab but their CEO seems hard to approach," Tyler said, looking at the floor, sulking.
"Well, at least you're right there sir. That woman is like an assassin who brings down every business that is above them. She wants her business to be the best there is. No wonder why our company is a rival against them. She's like a snake in disguise of a sheep!" They yelled.
"She's not disguising. Rather, she's already showing that she's a snake as if it was a sign not to mess with her," he mumbled. "Now that we're talking about the collaboration, did you manage to get back the 12 Million dollars you spent on the collaboration with Miss Cindy?" One man asked Tyler.
Tyler showed a nauseated reaction. He sighed in agony and said, "No. Darn it, I spent 12 Million US dollars for that darn collaboration to be successful and ended up getting fooled by one person! I was blinded by how good the collaboration seemed."
"Isn't it all the fault of your secretary for being incompetent, sir?" "What?" Tyler looked up at the person who said those words. "I mean, he's the reason why you even started the collaboration, right? Because he's close to Miss Cindy and because you trusted him and ended up making a fool of yourself," they chuckled.
Tyler brushed his hair against his hand and said, "Are you mocking my secretary right now? Ha! Not even do you have the guts to mock my secretary, but you also have the balls to mock me. I may have lost 12 Million US dollars but I don't blame Seo Hyun even a tiny bit because I know very well that he only wanted it for good!"
"You trust him too much sir. Remember, he's the sibling of the woman we called a snake earlier. You never know, unlike her sister who's already showing her true colors, he might be the opposite to slowly surround you, getting closer to you and achieving your trust without realizing that he's slowly suffocating you by using his momentum to strike to throw could around you, then squeezes like how a snake would do," they mumbled.
Tyler was left speechless against their words. However, he didn't stop there. He looked at them with a rather different look. This time, with a more, irritated gaze as if he's ready to kill someone.
"Don't even compare Seo Hyun to a snake," Tyler said.
