I was confused at first. Why was he pointing at me? What did he want? Did I do anything wrong? Had I blown my cover?
As I struggled with the myriad of questions, they closed the space between us.
"The king would like to speak to you." Their leader eyed me suspiciously as he spoke. I shifted uncomfortably, and we were having a drink outside the lodgings we were given. We never discussed any of our plans here, so there was no way anyone accidentally overheard us.
From the corner of my eyes, I noticed Floki shifting uncomfortably, and he was about to pull out his sword when Bodvar tapped him on the shoulder.
I also turned and gave him a stern look. He reluctantly stood down as I stood up and went with the guards. King Andrew already had a make-shift throne prepared in the monastery, and he seemed to be impressed by it because he wore a smug smile as I approached.
I bowed slowly. "Your highness."
He sized me up before he answered back."What is your name?"
