Seda's arms wrapped tightly around Adriel's unconscious body, as Elizabeth watched with a mixture of envy and frustration. She longed to be the one holding him, to feel the warmth of his body against hers, but Seda had beaten her to it once again.
"What's going on here?" Seda's voice was sharp and possessive as she glared at Elizabeth. Her eyes blazed with a dangerous fire, and Elizabeth could feel a shiver run down her spine.
"I have no idea," Elizabeth replied through gritted teeth, her own jealousy rising to the surface. "He started acting strange all of a sudden."
Seda's grip on Adriel tightened, and Elizabeth could see her knuckles turning white with the effort. It was clear that Seda had no intention of letting him go, not while she still had breath in her body.
Elizabeth took a step closer, her own arms itching to wrap around Adriel. But Seda's glare was enough to keep her at bay, and she could feel the jealousy burning within her like a hot coal.
"The way he talked, the way he was acting...this is not the Adriel I know; something is going wrong, but what?" Seda's voice was filled with worry and concern; her mind was racing with thoughts of what could be happening to him.
Elizabeth's own jealousy was simmering just below the surface, but she tried to push it aside as she focused on the situation at hand. She had to admit that Seda was right—something was definitely wrong with Adriel.
"Maybe... it can't be, my master said the spell could end up making his curse worse, maybe..." Elizabeth trailed off, her own worries beginning to surface. She had known that the spell they had cast on Adriel to break his curse was risky, but she had never imagined that it could have such disastrous consequences.
Seda's grip on Adriel tightened, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination. "We have to do something," she said, her voice ringing with conviction. "I can't let him slip away from me, from me.. I mean.. us."
"But what can you do? At this point, only my master can do something," Elizabeth said through gritted teeth, her eyes narrowing as she stared at Adriel. Her fingers clenched tightly around the old telephone, her knuckles turning white as she began dialing her master's number, desperation clear in her actions.
Elizabeth's frustration grew with every unanswered call to her master. She slammed the phone down on the receiver, her eyes fixed on Adriel. She could feel the jealousy and possessiveness bubbling inside of her, like a pot of boiling water ready to spill over.
"My master is out," Elizabeth spat, her voice tinged with anger. "I won't be able to talk to her until she returns, and even then, I won't be able to guarantee anything."
The mere thought of Adriel's flirtatious nature made Elizabeth's blood boil with jealousy. She couldn't stand the idea of him charming and flirting with other girls, not when she believed he belonged to her alone.
Elizabeth, who had always been possessive of Adriel, watched with a fierce gaze as he interacted with other girls. She knew she had to do something to protect what was hers, and Elizabeth's presence only made her more determined.
As they watched Adriel sleep, Elizabeth's jealousy grew stronger, and she knew she had to take action. She turned to Seda and whispered, "We need to do something about him. He can't be allowed to continue like this."
Seda's eyes narrowed as she listened to Elizabeth. "I agree," she said, her voice low and dangerous. "We can't let him think he can have anyone he wants. He belongs to us, and we won't let anyone take him away."
"What can we do to stop him?" Elizabeth asked, her voice filled with a hint of madness.
Seda, who was still holding Adriel, looked up at her with a smirk. "We can break his dating schedule until further notice," she replied, her grip on him tightening.
Elizabeth nodded in agreement, her eyes narrowing as she looked at Adriel. "Yes, we need to figure out the reason for this behavior," she said, her voice taking on a dangerous edge.
Seda's smile widened as she watched Elizabeth take Adriel from her lap. The two of them were like two wild animals fighting over a piece of meat, each one determined to claim Adriel as their own.
"Let go of him," Elizabeth demanded, her grip on Adriel becoming tighter.
Seda reluctantly released him, her eyes never leaving his form. "Fine, for now, let's call a truce," she said, her voice filled with a mixture of anger and desperation.
Together, they took Adriel home.
