I was awestruck as Azazel led me into the throne room, my eyes darting around at the grandeur of it all. Gold glittered from every corner, and kneeling before me were creatures unlike any I'd ever seen.
As I took my seat on the throne, I felt a thrill of power run through me. It was as though the very air around me crackled with magic.
The throne room itself was a marvel to behold. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings, depicting scenes of battles and triumphs. The ceiling was so high that it seemed to disappear into the heavens. The throne itself was made of shining, golden metal and was surrounded by smaller thrones, each adorned with precious gems.
As I gazed around the room, my attention was drawn to the kneeling creatures before me. They were humanoid, but there was something distinctly otherworldly about them. Their skin was a deep shade of blue, with markings that glowed a soft, ethereal white. Their eyes were large and luminescent, and their hair was a mass of shimmering tendrils that seemed to move of their own accord.
Despite their strange appearance, they exuded an air of grace and dignity that made it clear they were not to be trifled with. I could feel their gaze upon me, assessing me, testing me, and I knew that they would not have come to me if they did not believe I was capable of handling the task at hand.
The only sound was the soft rustling of their hair as they shifted slightly, never taking their eyes off me. The air was thick with a sweet, floral scent that I couldn't quite place, and I could feel a cool breeze blowing in from an unseen source.
"Sorry for the abrupt summons," the feminine creature spoke up. "But we need your guidance. The heroes have been called, and we don't know how to proceed."
As I looked up at the creature, I was struck by her beauty. Her skin was a deep, earthy brown, with streaks of gold running through it. Her hair cascaded down her back in wild waves, the color of autumn leaves. Her eyes were piercing and wise, the color of rich soil.
But despite her unearthly beauty, there was a roughness to her that spoke of a life lived in the wild. She wore simple, tattered clothing made of rough fabrics, adorned only with simple jewelry crafted from bone and stone.
As she stood before me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. She was a being of pure, primal power, and I knew that she was not to be trifled with.
"Please, guide us," she spoke again, her voice deep and resonant. "We are at your service."
As the feminine creature spoke, I couldn't help but think of the two heroes that had been causing trouble lately: Elora and Emma. It was time to get serious.
"Well then," I said, my voice oozing with determination. "It's time to reinforce our defense system and prepare for their arrival."
If this game had chosen me to play the role of the demon king, then I wasn't going to hold back. I opened up my status window, and to my surprise, my levels were off the charts. It must have been another bug in the system, or perhaps it was just because I was a demon king. Either way, I wasn't complaining.
But then, I decided to check on my loyal demon, Elizu. As I opened her status window, my jaw nearly hit the floor. All her stats were through the roof, but what really caught my attention was her loyalty status. It was immeasurable! Now that's what I call a faithful minion.
As I gazed at Elizu, I couldn't help but admire her fierce loyalty. It was like she was ready to take on the entire demon army if they dared to disrespect me. And that was exactly the kind of demon I needed by my side as the demon king.
"Something's off, master," she said, sensing my unease.
I shook my head. "No, no. It's nothing. What else do we have on the agenda today?"
Elizu hesitated for a moment before continuing. "Well, the other demon commanders are getting a little too big for their britches. They want you to personally inspect their areas, but I think it's disrespectful. Who do they think they are?"
Her aura was practically on fire with anger, and I couldn't help but grin. It was nice to have such a powerful and loyal ally in my corner.
"Don't worry, Elizu," I said. "I'll handle it. After all, I am the demon king. "
I couldn't believe my eyes as I delved deeper into the game. The AI was so advanced, it was like nothing I'd ever seen before. It was a shame that I had to log out soon, but I was determined to make the most of my time in this world.
Just as I was about to call it a night, a message popped up on my screen. "No need to worry, my friend," it read. "The game has a special system that makes game hours last longer than real life. One hour in real life equals a whole month here."
My mind was blown. This was a game-changer! I could spend months, even years, in this world and not miss a beat in the real world. I grinned to myself, knowing that I was about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
"My liege, if I may suggest, would you do me the honor of inspecting my area first? I understand if you have other priorities, but I would be delighted if you could pay me a visit," Elizu said, her voice laced with a hint of shyness and anticipation.
I chuckled. "Of course, Elizu. Lead the way."
As we made our way through the demon's lair, I couldn't help but marvel at the game's attention to detail. The dark and ominous atmosphere was so realistic, it felt as though I was truly in the demon world.
