Matthew returned to pick up Lily after all the business in his father's office was finished. While he was in his father's office, the person he had assigned to watch over Lily came to see him. That man told him the places Lily and Ryan had gone to besides the London Eye. The man he paid also said he often saw Lily going in and out of the hotel where Ryan was staying.
Hearing all these reports made Matthew try his best to control the jealousy he felt. Although he felt his blood boil after listening to all the news, he chose to pretend not to know about it. It was different from the voice in Matthew's head that kept urging him to kill Ryan for teasing Lily.
Matthew took a deep breath when the car he was riding in stopped in front of his family's foundation building. Before stepping out of his car, Matthew called Lily. "Hi, I'm already outside. Are you done?"
"I'll be done soon. Would you like to wait inside?" asked Lily.
