"Hi, Cass," Lily greeted as she walked into the lab to check her new serum sample.
Cassandra, who was watching Lily's new serum, straightened up. She then smiled at Lily. "Hi! I thought you weren't here yet."
Lily laughed softly. "I stayed here last night."
"You're with Mike?" Cassandra asked.
Lily nodded her head. "The two of us chatted last night. I also introduced him to Matthew."
"Oh, that's great. Mike must have gotten even more excited about his test after he talked to Matthew," Cassandra said.
Lily nodded her head. "Between his zest for life, Mike got a boost again after he spoke to Matthew."
Cassandra smiled after hearing what Lily said. "Hopefully, he can survive until we find the cure."
"Yup, I hope so," said Lily. She then walked over to the refrigerator used to store her serum samples. Lily took out a serum from the fridge.
