Lily was getting ready for her work while waiting for the arrival of volunteers who wanted to participate in developing a cancer drug that Lily was working on. Of the many people who signed up to join in her drug development, Lily found one person whose history was almost the same as Matthew's.
The phone in Lily's workspace rang, and Lily answered it immediately. "Yes? Has he come?"
"He's already downstairs," replied the receptionist, who called Lily.
"Okay." Lily directly put the receiver back down and got up from her seat. After that, Lily came out of her room wearing her lab coat.
When Lily stepped out of her workspace, she suddenly passed Cassandra across the front of her room. "You want to come down, Cass?"
Cassandra shook her head. "I'm going to the bathroom. You want to see the volunteer?"
Lily nodded her head.
"Then I'll catch up with you when I'm done," Cassandra said.
