Matthew rose from his seat and walked over to the small window in the shed. He had been hiding with Freddie and his brothers. He then took a deep breath because there was still no sign of Alo and Sigmund coming. Matthew then turned his attention back to Collin, who was lying on a large table in the warehouse.
Matthew glanced at Freddie and his brothers, who were still sitting in the chairs around the table. Three of Freddie's brothers were already asleep. The other two were still watching Collin. As for Freddie, he was looking at Matthew.
Freddie shook his head as he looked at Matthew. He then took a deep breath. Matthew understood the meaning of Freddie's sigh. He was sure Freddie would be very disappointed with his attitude. Matthew then ventured to come over to Freddie.
"Hi, Fred. Can we talk for a minute?" said Matthew.
Freddie stared at Matthew for a moment. "What do you want to say?"
"I can't stand this situation. I feel compelled to speak to you," Matthew replied.
