"Good morning," said Matthew as Lily started to open her eyes. He smiled as he looked at Lily and gently stroked her hair.
Lily smiled back as she stretched her body. She then hugged Matthew and kissed his chin. "Did you sleep last night?"
Matthew laughed softly in response to Lily's question. "You already know that I don't need sleep."
"So what do you do when I fall asleep?" asked Lily.
"I looked at you all night, then I took a short walk around the hotel, and finally I went back to bed to look at you," Matthew replied.
"Besides that?"
Matthew shook his head. "Besides that, I have nothing to do. I just lay next to you and stare at you. You fell asleep very soundly."
Lily chuckled at Matthew's words. "You put me to sleep like that."
"I ordered breakfast for you. After dropping you off at work, I will return to Barcelona." Matthew stroked Lily's hair and kissed her forehead.
